Car differentials
Sedláček, Petr ; Ramík, Pavel (referee) ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with differentials with emphasis on self-locking differentials. The first part deals with the transmission system, followed by a part introducing the issue of differentials, their distribution and description of individual structures. At the end of the work we find the solutions of self-locking differentials with focus on Torsen type differentials. The aim of the work was to create a comprehensive overview of differential issues.
Systems for performance flow distribution in vehicles powertrain
Novotný, Petr ; Suchý, Jan (referee) ; Fojtášek, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis tries to provide compact knowledge about differential systems. In the first part of the thesis you can find information about basic function and differentials are divided into several groups. Second part describes elementary kinematic and torque quantities which have significant influence on the character of differential. Last part of my thesis is concerned with groups of differentials mentioned in the first chapter. Also in the last part there is place devoted intelligent differentials which are nowadays on a market.
Automotive differentials
Zavadil, Roman ; Píštěk, Václav (referee) ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with differentials used in cars. The thesis contains a comprehensive set of knowledge about differentials used in cars and introduces the reader to the issue of differentials in terms of construction, disassembly and their simplified creation. The first part of the thesis divides differentials according to construction and clarifies their function. The second part deals with the disassembly of the final drive case with a bevel differential. The final third part describes the creation of a spur-type differential model.
Personal car differentals
Csémi, András ; Kloss, Ondřej (referee) ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the topic of car differentials with special attention to self-locking differentials. The first part is dedicated to the description of the powertrain. Then the main part is about the differentials, their division, the description of the constructions and the principle of function, with a focus on self-locking types. The aim of the thesis was to create a summary of self-locking differentials.
WRC Specification Cars
Urban, Jiří ; Svída, David (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
In this bachelor’s thesis are introduced and briefly described the most important functional parts of WRC specification sport car in light of constructional solutions, specialities and differences from stock produced car. The car is primary designed for racing in World Rally Championship under the auspices of International Automobile Federation FIA. Finally is shortly outlined possible future evolution of this motorsport category.
Car differentials
Čapek, Štěpán ; Ramík, Pavel (referee) ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (advisor)
Technical solutions of car differentials. Description of the vehicle transmission system and types of differentials with their evaluation. Following active systems and active differentials with explanation of their function and summary of advantages and disadvantages of their application and use by individual car manufacturers.
Axle Limited-Slip Differential
Csémi, András ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Hejtmánek, Petr (advisor)
The topic of this master‘s thesis is the axle Limited-slip Differential. The first part is devoted to the description of types of differentials open, locked or self-locking. The next part describes the procedure of creating a mathematical model for the simulation of vehicle movement based on input parameters and subsequent comparison of vehicle behavior with open and locked differential. The final part of the work based on data obtained from the model with a Limited-slip Differential is devoted to the design of a differential for a vehicle with one driven axle.
Cars with All Wheel Drive
Stiborová, Dana ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The aim of this retrieval thesis is a description of the modern concepts of all-wheel drive used in passenger cars. The initial part is devoted to the historical development of this drive and its advantages and disadvantages. The following section describes the basic components and their use in individual concepts. Further, this work focuses on detailed description of the various drive systems used by leading automobile manufacturers and it is ended with a re-flection on the possible direction of further development of the automotive industry.
Formula Student Drivetrain
Odehnal, Jakub ; Svída, David (referee) ; Ramík, Pavel (advisor)
This master‘s thesis describes design of Formula Student Drivetrain, car evolution Dragon 4 and Dragon 5. There is shown an overview of the drivetrain parts used in category Formula Student. On that basis is made the new concept of drivetrain for the each car. Major focus is placed on the design of the differential mounting and chain tensioning mechanism. For the selected components was made stress analysis by FEM.
Automatic Locking Differential
Kimlová, Anna ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis consists of two parts. The first one contains a research about different kinds of divorces in tractors. There is also a description of a modelling in MATLAB, Simulink and Stateflow programs. The second part focuses on designing an algorithm of an automatic locking differential and connection front-wheel drive and its testing on a model of tractor. Furthermore the thesis solves an implementation process of the algorithm into the control unit.
