Lighting system for auditorium
Advertising LED RGB Tube with Control Unit
Frelich, Marek ; Fedra, Zbyněk (referee) ; Frýza, Tomáš (advisor)
This project discusses design of LED RGB tubes, which can be driven by asynchronous serial line. The light color of the LED tubes can be controlled in a several segments of tubes. There is made a design of control unit for driving LED tubes, which contains circuits for receiving and detection of audio signal, receiving of protocol DMX512 and also driving of LED strips. For the microprocessors there is also created a software which ensures a communication between the control unit and LED tubes, driving LEDs in the tube and creating various lighting effects.
Wireless Signal Transmission of DMX512 Interface
Polóni, Pavol ; Jaroš, Jiří (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
Master's thesis deals with design and implementation of a system for wireless transmission of DMX signal 512, which is primarily designed for the management of lighting effects. Its electrical specification is based on the EIA485 standard. Text of the work describes the design stage. First is the issue of implied actual protocol DMX 512 or EIA485. Next sign on selecting a suitable architecture for wireless transmission, management and compilation of the block diagrams. Describes the operation of the component selection and circuit implementation of the scheme, which is using the DPS Eagle compiled. In conclusion, this work is to evaluate the results of the proposed system and showing the way to its further development so that it can be realistically implemented in practice.
Miniaturization and Range Extension of W-DMX v1.0 Module
Rojček, Martin ; Jaroš, Jiří (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
The aim of this master thesis is to design a wireless system which would be primarily used for a control of stage lighting. Our idea is to establish wireless links, that will carry DMX512 protocol, between individual lighting devices based on wireless transceiver nRF2401A. The foundation of our project comes from a previous design, which was not completely suitable for a practical use because of its rather large proportions and a short RF range. The project resolves the issue of relatively short range coverage through the deployment of RF amplifier RF5722. In the same tme, it also takes into account other technical aspects such as the use of antenas with a higher gain, front-end circuits or increased transmission reliability through frequency hopping scheme. Proper attention is also given to a minimalization of the module dimensions by using SMD components and layout adjustements, so it would be possible to place the whole board inside XLR connector. Set of printed circuit boards with the specified characteristics, which is the expected outcome of our project, were designed with Eagle PCB design environment.
Analyser of DMX512 Protocol with USB Interface
Bartoň, Zdeněk ; Hošek, Jiří (referee) ; Kouřil, Jiří (advisor)
Aim of this work is to make know readers with modern technologies for driving scenic and musical techniques, with focus especially on a new technologies of communication. Subsequently this work deals with proposal and realization electronic device enabling analysis of control protocol DMX512, but also testing bus DMX512.
The Lighting system for auditorium
Novák, M.
This paper sums up the implementation of a cost effective lighting system, which cannot be realized directly using DMX512 due to its limited performance. The implementation consists of the network topology and the end device design. The overall design and results of a further analysis will be described.
