Magnetic field analysis with finite element method and magnetic sensor
Volf, Tomáš ; Kurfűrst, Jiří (referee) ; Skalka, Miroslav (advisor)
The magnetic field analysis by MKP and magnetic probe project deals with magnetic field analysis of asynchronous machine cross section. This analysis is written in detail along with the necessary theory of asynchronous machine and the ANSYS program. The magnetic field of selected machine is measured by magnetic probe and results are compared with calculation. The next part of thesis is draft of device for the magnetic field analysis.
Vane pump
Mach, Jiří ; Jandourek, Pavel (referee) ; Klas, Roman (advisor)
This work gives basic information about vane pumps, especially with unbalanced construction and vanes led by rotor. The first chapter generally gives an attention to pumps. There are described basic information, classification, advantages and disadvantages of the types, characteristics and calculation relations. The following chapters describe the vane pumps in the way of classification, description of function and calculation relations. There is also made a practical calculation of vane pump according to the assignment accompanied by CFD analysis.
Computer modelling of non-conventional horn antennas
Divín, Jan ; Lukeš, Zbyněk (referee) ; Oliva, Lukáš (advisor)
This Bachelor’s Thesis is dealing with research of optimization method PSO and its using to increase directionality axial symmetry horn antennas. Axial symmetry 2D model from program Comsol Multiphysics was used for this purpose.
Verification of nonlinear material models of concrete
Král, Petr ; Němec, Ivan (referee) ; Hradil, Petr (advisor)
Diploma thesis is focused on the description of the parameters of nonlinear material models of concrete, which are implemented in a computational system LS-DYNA, interacting with performance of nonlinear test calculations in system LS-DYNA on selected problems, which are formed mainly by simulations of tests of mechanical and physical properties of concrete in uniaxial compressive and tensile on cylinders with applying different boundary conditions and by simulation of bending slab, with subsequent comparison of some results of test calculations with results of the experiment. The thesis includes creation of appropriate geometric models of selected problems, meshing of these geometric models, description of parameters and application of nonlinear material models of concrete on selected problems, application of loads and boundary conditions on selected problems and performance of nonlinear calculations in a computational system LS-DYNA. Evaluation of results is made on the basis of stress-strain diagrams and load-displacement diagrams based on nonlinear calculations taking into account strain rate effects and on the basis of hysteresis curves based on nonlinear calculations in case of application of cyclic loading on selected problems. Verification of nonlinear material models of concrete is made on the basis of comparison of some results of test calculations with results obtained from the experiment.
Simplified computer models of elements for an air distribution
Mishuk, Aliaksandra ; Gebauer, Günter (referee) ; Šikula, Ondřej (advisor)
The goal of this master thesis is to create a simplified model of an actual swirl diffuser using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation, so that it would be easy to calculate (would have a simple geometry, a proper mesh and would enable quick definition of the model’s boundary conditions) and would also create an airflow pattern in space as close to reality as possible. In the process a CFD model with a certain geometry was created. Subsequently, various model settings were tested. Calculation results were compared with the results of the experimental measurement done using the PIV method.
Synthesis of electromagnetic bandgap structures
Šedý, Michal ; Kovács, Peter (referee) ; Raida, Zbyněk (advisor)
In microwave frequency band, the planar technology is mainly used to fabricate electronic circuits. Propagation of surface waves belongs to the significant problem of this technology. Surface waves can cause unwanted coupling among particular parts of the structure and can degrade its parameters. The problem can be solved using an electromagnetic band gap structure (EBG). These periodic structures are able to suppress surface waves in different frequency bands. This thesis is focused on the modeling of these structures in the program COMSOL Multiphysics.
Numerical modeling of wind load on photovoltaic panels
Zajac, Zbyněk ; Vlk, Zbyněk (referee) ; Martinásek, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with wind loading on photovoltaic panels installed on a flat roof. Numerical calculation was made for a fictitious building. Photovoltaic array was installed according to the general principles. Wind load on the array was applied in different directions in order to calculate the highest value in the area. Calculation and interpretation of results were done in ANSYS. Results were compared with coefficients given in the Dutch standard NEN 7250. This standard is not part of European standard.
Effect of physical fluid properties on heat transfer efficiency in turbulent Rayleigh-Bénard convection
Věžník, Tomáš ; Schmoranzer, David (referee) ; Urban, Pavel (advisor)
Byla provedena měření turbulentní Rayleighovy-Bénardovy konvekce v kryogenním heliu v rozsahu Rayleighových čísel 1e8
Simulation and statically analysis of cieling structure by Ansys FEM program.
Obršlík, Petr ; Keršner, Zbyněk (referee) ; Křiváková, Jarmila (advisor)
This thesis mainly deals with modeling and static analysis of the ceiling structure in the basic environment of ANSYS. The first part is focused on verifying correctness of the model most stressed parts of the structure with a simple hand-static calculation by the process of stress on a continuous beam. The main part is devoted to modeling composite structure, element types, specifying loads and boundary conditions by ANSYS FEM program. In the end, there are the results of stress and deflection presented, and the structure is evaluated at the ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state.
HVAC of part of the hospital department
Pěnčíková, Monika ; Rubina, Aleš (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the comprehensive design of a new workplace with instrumentation, and thus also the technical equipment of part of this hospital department. It will be modernized and equipped with new, more efficient devices. The construction work will take place within the interior of the building, with the exception of the replacement of windows and the installation of an HVAC unit on the roof. The affected spaces are marked in the drawing section and contain a SPECT x-ray examination room, a control room from where employees control the necessary equipment, an entrance hall, three patient changing rooms, a toilet or a patient background and a secondary examination room. The area in question is divided into two functional units. The theoretical part is devoted to hospitals, their definitions and divisions. Subsequently, I deal with radiology and the necessary technical background for the SPECT area in question.
