Automation of Audio Device Measurement on APx500 Platform
Panáček, Richard ; Sysel, Petr (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the options of measurement automatization on the platform APx500. This automatization should be achieved not only with the use of the measuring program APx500, but also with the use of third-party programs. In these programs, measuring projects should be created. Among many compatible programs, there are LabVIEW, VEE, and a programing environment using Visual Basic language. The thesis is divided into many parts. The first part is focused on the introduction of the APx500 program and its functions. The second part is aimed at the connecting program APx500 with third-party programs using APx API. The practical part of this thesis is about the creation of a measuring project for frequency response in program LabView. Afterwards, this thesis focuses on creating a measuring project inside Excel document, with the usage of Visual Basic language for Applications. This project is intended to measure acoustic response, impedance and Thiele-Small parameters of a loudspeaker.

Knobloch, Jan ; Chlebiš,, Petr (referee) ; Drábek,, Pavel (referee) ; Klíma, Bohumil (advisor)
This doctoral thesis focuses on the problems of IGBT failure prediction in pulse converters using measurable changes of selected parameters (so--called trending variables) being influenced of transistor degradation during aging. Firstly the state--of--the--art in this field is presented in the dizertation. The description of designed and constructed automated measurement stand follows, enabling monitoring and recording of switching processes during accelerated aging. Further the problems of high--bandwidth measurement of electrical quantities during IGBT switching are described. Especially the problems of current sensing are analyzed and the most suitable sensor is selected. The data recorded using the developed apparatus served to identify potential trending variables allowing the failure prediction. Here the dependence of trending variables on aging and on parasitic influences (current, temperature, voltage) had to be distinguished. Finally the evaluation of trending variables is performed. Their insignificant sensitivity on accelerated aging is shown which complicates their practical implementation for the purpose of failure prediction.
Automation of measurement of disturbance influence on xDSL technologies
Röszler, Pavel ; Číž, Radim (referee) ; Šilhavý, Pavel (advisor)
This work focuses on interference of DSL transmission, measurement and testing with Spirent noise generator and injection unit. Deals with proposition of automated measurement of transmission bit rate dependency on wireline lenght and noise type and level. In theoretical part are described ADSL technology and noise types. Following part focuses on measurement setup and description of wireline simulator units E414 and 8234, gene- rator DLS-5800 a injection unit DLS-5410DC by Spirent company. Main part describes generator and injection unit control software and remote control commands, which are used for automated measurement. There are also described xDSL Measure tool software, which is using for automated measurement with wireline simulators and upgrade, which implements remote communication with generator a injection unit, for remote control and automatic changing noise types generated at the output.
Automated station for DC and AC measurements
Burian, Josef ; Jeřábek, Jan (referee) ; Koton, Jaroslav (advisor)
he object of this work is the suggestion of workplace for measurement of direct-current and alternating current quantities. This work is divided into several basic units. There are described separate elements of the workplace by the HW over the bus line up to the SW in full details. The selection of HW and the suggestion of service program is approached in the next part. To the program creation was used environment for virtual instrumentation VEE 9.2 made by Agilent company. Resulting program is described in this work in full details. The last part of this work concerns with test measurement and valuation of the whole work.
Creation of LabView application for automatic measurement of switchgear temperature rise
Kopunec, Vít ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Valenta, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create an automated measurement of the temperature increase of electrical devices using the graphical programming environment of LabVIEW. To measure the temperature increase, up to four thermocouples are used of any type. The final .vi file must meet the requirements for the particular option settings; before running a measurement. On the front panel .vi file, is displayed the following configuration elements: time measurement, number of measurements, thermocouple type and amplification. The programme measures the voltage of the thermocouples, recalculates the value of voltage to the temperature, measures the values to write to a file with a txt extension, and writes values into the tables, constructing useful graphical information of physical measurements.
Communication of a Measuring Device with a Computer – Laboratory Experiments
Cigánek, Jan ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Jakubová, Ivana (advisor)
This project deals with the programme for automated measurement. Project describes main theory advices and possibilities of building programme with language C++. It shows complication in communication of PC with measurement devices and it describes programme commands. This work includes programme, solution, structure with examples of the algorithm and source code. The designed control programme has been applied for automated measurement of frequency characteristics of low-pass and high-pass filters with the analogue multiplier AD 633 using the programmable DC power supply Agilent E3631A, the digital multimeter Agilent 34411A or digital storage oscilloscope Tektronix TDS 1012 and generator Agilent 33220A.
Environment parameters monitoring
Richter, Tomáš ; Ing. Jan Janečka, Ph.D. ABB s.r.o. Brno (referee) ; Vdoleček, František (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis analyzes available options, methods and resources of monitoring environmental parameters. It focuses on environmental parameters, which can affect accuracy of measurement results. Practical work deals with design and implementation of model, which allows monitor environmental parameters at laboratory A4/603. Implemented model accesses actual and historical values of environmental parameters through web applications. The measured values from laboratory can be used for correction of technical measurement results done in this room.
