Electronic signature in practice

This bachelor's thesis deals with the creation and development of a system for management and security of digital certificates used for signing documents. The application created in this thesis is conceptualised as a console application used from command line of a system. This solution is justified by the possibility of being continued as a graphic user interface extension or adopted by another application. The application allows for the creation of a user account, through which a person can import their certificates with passwords into the application and subsequently use the certificates in signing PDF documents or PNG files. Algorithms ensuring the security of saved data are implemented by the application. The theoretical part of this thesis analyzes the creation and work with certificates and signature keys in real life, including the creation of own self-signed certificate. The theoretical part concludes with the testing of usage of the certificates.

Návrh a implementace firemní počítačové sítě a virtualizačního clusteru Proxmox

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the design and implementation of a corporate computer network and virtualization cluster using Proxmox. The work is based on design requirements obtained through consultation with company representatives. To achieve the goal, an analysis and description of the existing network and server infrastructure of the selected company was performed, and the needs and requirements for the new IT infrastructure were identified. Based on these findings, a design proposal for the computer network and Proxmox virtualization cluster, including redundant storage for virtual machines and additional storage for backup, was prepared. After the design phase, the proposed solutions were implemented in a production environment. The result of this work is a functional computer network and Proxmox virtualization cluster that fully meets the requirements and needs of the selected company and ensures efficient and reliable operation of its IT infrastructure.

Adsorption of radionuclides in granite pores and micropores

Adsorption of radionuclides in granite pores and micropores ABSTRACT This graduation thesis deals with laboratory determination of adsorption isotherms parameters. Granite from the central moldanubian pluton, site Panské Dubenky, Czech Republic, was chosen to the experiment. The place is one of the candidate sites to build a deep nuclear waste disposal. A batch experiment was performed in two modes, differing in the way of addition of radioactive nuclide 90 Sr. From this experiment, distribution coefficients for a linear isotherm or parameters for Langmuir isotherm were obtained. Beside this, a through-diffusion experiment was performed. The objective of this experiment was to identify whether some of the radionuclides used (137 Cs, 90 Sr, 125 I) is able to penetrate through the pores of a granite slice barrier between two solutions of different concentrations. During the period of the experiment no radionuclide was detected reliably.

The analysis of digital archive Ask the Library

This bachelor's thesis seeks to analyze records of answered queries, saved in their online digital archive of the Czech national digital reference service called Ask your library. Two first chapters are based on studying sources, found within a bibliographical exploration of the subject. The first chapter briefly presents the service (development, current state, function, organization and administration, receiving and answering processes, etc.). The second chapter describes in detail the creation of online archive with answered queries and researching information from it. In the third chapter is detailed analysis of answered queries. The presentation of the results forms a major part of the work. The analysis includes the presentation and interpretation of basic statistics published on the Web site (eg. the proportion of questions within years, the share of stakeholders on answering queries, etc..), and analysis of the content of the answered queries within selected thematic categories (content and nature of the response, used and others recommended resources). Finally, the author evaluates the results of the analysis of the online archive of the answered queries and perspectives of next development of this service. A proposal for a solution is based on the conducted analysis and the requirements of the organisation. The solution recommends modification of the data backup system including the design of new hardware.
