Optical methods in experimental mechanics
Hrabovský, Miroslav
The paper deals with experimental methods used in experimental mechanics, especially in experimental stress analysis. High attention is given to optical methods - classical and modern optical methods and its future in mechanics. They are classical interferometry based on optical interference and superposition, stereometry, photoplasticity, moiré, holography speckle photography etc.
Experimental mechanics of solids - today and future
Vlk, M. ; Hrabovský, Miroslav ; Holý, S.
The presented paper deals, besides the above mentioned problem, with experimental methods. High attention is given to strain gauge methods and optical ones. In the conclusions authors voice their opinion about future existence of experimantal methods.
Profilometry by means of white light interference
Pavlíček, Pavel
Profilometry by means of white-light interference is a suitable method for measurement of topology of rough surfaces. This contactless optical method measures the height profile with an uncertainly of about 1ćm.
Nd:YAG pulsed laser cutting of metals
Chmelíčková, Hana ; Polák, Marek
Pulsed Nd:YAG laser KLS 246-102 with average power 150W was developed for cutting, drilling and welding of metal and non-metal materials with thickness up to 2 mm. We chose an usually used kind of metal, steel (class 11) to test the optimal cutting conditions on various thickness from 0.1 to 1 mm.
Laser cladding of low-carbon steel
Stranyánek, Martin ; Chmelíčková, Hana
The paper presents laser cladding as one of the methods od laser materials surface treatment. There is introduced a brief description of the powder injection laser cladding method.
Laser cutting of metals and glass
Polák, Marek ; Chmelíčková, Hana ; Stranyánek, Martin
This paper describes the technology of cutting thic carbon steels of thickness up to 1mm using pulsed Nd:YAD laser and the results of the experiments of cutting glass continous CO.sub.2 laser.
Application of moiré topography for inspection of shape of pump blades
Rössler, Tomáš ; Hrabovský, Miroslav ; Keprt, Jiří ; Bartoněk, L.
The measurement of shape - the topography - of pump blade with the help of projection moiré is described here. The article contains theoretical basics of projection moiré the description of used experimental set-up and several representative experimental results.
Algorithm for automatic manufacturing control of general hydraulic surface
Rössler, Tomáš ; Hrabovský, Miroslav
During the manufacturing control the results of measurement of a surface have to be compared with a model (reference surface) given by the technical drawing to obtain the inaccuracy of manufacturing. Surfaces are generally rotated nad translated each to other.
Applications computer equiment at optical-mechanical measurements of biomechanical characteristics of cadaverous lumbarspines
Bartoněk, L. ; Keprt, Jiří ; Charamza, J. ; Hrabálek, L.
The goal of this work is to evaluate the degree of stability of various surgical fixation methods by biomechanical analysis of the human lumbar spine. This measuring was carried out on cadaverous samples of the lumbar spine using precisely defined mechanical loads on the spinal samples, including pressure, flexibility, torsion and their combinations.
Study of RF discharge properties for hybrid pulsed laser deposition
Novotný, M. ; Jelínek, Miroslav ; Bulíř, Jiří ; Zelinger, Zdeněk ; Lančok, Ján
We have created CN.sub.x layers by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) using graphite target in N./sub.2 ambient and KrF excimer laser. We have found that active nitrogen plays an important role in this task. We have studied the influence of various RF parameters on the activation of nitrogen by optical emission spectroscopy.
