Vibrations of rotor supported in magnetic bearings with impacts
Půst, Ladislav ; Kozánek, Jan
The retainer bearing is usually a ball or roller bearing. The combination of dry Coulomb friction with viscous and material damping and Hertzs law are used to describe this dynamical behaviour.
Q-learning used for control of AMB: reduced state definition
Březina, Tomáš ; Krejsa, Jiří
Previous work showed that stochastic strategy improved model free RL method known as Q-learning used on active magnetic bearing (AMB) model. So far the position, velocity and acceleration were used to describe the state of the system. This paper shows simplified version of controller which uses reduced state definition - position and velocity only. Furthermore the controlled initial conditions domain and its development during learning are shown.
Force calculations in permanent magnetic bearing
Bachorec, T. ; Šafr, M. ; Kozánek, Jan
Calculation of forces in permanent magnetic radial bearing by means of finite element method is presented and its results are compared with analytical estimates. From these results, the (slightly non-linear) relationship force versus radial displaceme is derived and the working position of rotor in the stator and predicted bearing stiffness are determined.
Modal and spectral properties of the rotor on permanent magnet bearings
Kozánek, Jan ; Scopel, D. ; Svoboda, R. ; Šafr, M.
In this article the spectral and modal properties of the rotor on contactless bearings are investigated. The dynamic behaviour, especially the eigenfrequencies and corresponding modes have been calculated in two different ways, by the FEM ANSYS software in the Institute of Thermomechanics and by the program DYNROT in TECHLAB company. The importance of this analysis is supported by the fact that the first non-rigid body resonance is not far from the working rotation speed 40 000 rpm .
Smoothing identification of systems with small non-linearities from complex transfer function
Kozánek, Jan
This paper deals with the simplified mathematical model of the transfer function of the system with small non-linearities. The iterative smoothing identification method of this system from measured complex transfer function is proposed. The associated near dynamic system is nonconservative, generally non auto-adjoint and non-commutative (with complex eigenvectors) but with simple eigenvalues.
Smoothing identification of systems with small non-linearities from amplitude response characteristic
Kozánek, Jan
This paper deals with the iterative smoothing of the amplitude response characteristic of a nonconservative (but auto-adjoint and commutative) vibrating system with small non-linearities (without jumping). The aim is to determine the complex eigenvalu with cubic stiffness behaviour and real modal coefficients in situation when no phase difference between output and input is known.
Dynamics of permanent magnetic bearing
Půst, Ladislav
The basic analysis of radial bearings properties including nonlinear characteristics are presented. The mathematical models of vertical and horizontal rotors supported by permanent magnetic bearings are derived. Splitting of resonance's due to the rotor weight and existence higher harmonics are mentioned as well.
Influence of two strong nonlinearities on the dynamics of controlled system
Půst, Ladislav
Simple mathematical model of active magneting bearing containing hardening nonlinearity in mechanical and softening one in electrical control subsystem is studied by analytical and simulation methods.Several examples are presented.
Permanent and active magnetic bearings
Kozánek, Jan ; Stolařík, M. ; Šafr, M.
In this paper, the design of a permanent contactless radial bearings was studied. The motor will be used as dynamic stand for further research in the field of vibration and stability problems in rotor dynamics. Due to insufficient reliability of analytical calculation of permanent magnet forces, preliminary measurements on a simple device were performed. The results obtained were used for the dimensioning of the bearings to be designed.
