Design of equipment for thermo mechanical pre-treatment of biodegradable waste
Kolařík, Ivo ; Jedlička, Filip (referee) ; Beňo, Zdeněk (advisor)
The main objective of this master’s thesis is to develop design equipment for thermomechanical pre-treatment of biodegradable waste. An important aspect of the design is taking into account current legislation, sanitary conditions for determining the pre-treated biodegradable material, which also serves as a raw material for biogas production. So the device will be used to monitor the impact of thermomechanical pre-treatment of biodegradable waste for biogas recovery. The following describes the processes of anaerobic decomposition of biodegradable materials and technology, whose main task is intensification of anaerobic decomposition of organic materials. The theoretical work are given various methods of processing and utilization of biodegradable wastes, focusing on kitchen waste and sludge from sewage plants. The next section describes the various factors that may affect the stability of the process of biogas generation. This also results in yield and chemical composition of biogas. A key part of this master’s thesis is to develop technical documentation and an approximate calculation of the hot slurry.
The energy balance of biogas station
Urbánek, Martin ; Niesner, Jakub (referee) ; Beňo, Zdeněk (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to provide information about creating energetic balance of a biogas station. It focuses on discussing current issues of manufacturing biodegradable waste in European Union and the Czech Republic, including related legislature. The individual methods of manufacturing processes of landfilling, incineration, biological treatment and mechanical-biological treatment are described. The thesis presents comprehensive review of the technology of biogas station and the biogas itself. The energy balance has been performed on the grounds of data acquired from the biogas station Stonava.
Production of biogas as an automotive fuel from renewable materials
Frühbauer, Zdeněk ; Houdková, Lucie (referee) ; Dlabaja, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to specify and summarize possibilities of biogas production as a motor vehicle fuel by using the renewable energy sources. In the first part of the thesis there are the data concerning biogas, its production and chemical composition. An important part of the thesis is a description of current most used methods of cleaning which adjust biogas to quality of natural gas. The important part of this thesis is to introduce some of already working projects and to get knowledge about possibilities of making biogas from biologically decomposable material as a renewable energy source. The close of the thesis deals with energy, economy and ecological audit too and values biogas through all angles which decide about its using in larger size in the car industry.
Biogas technologies
Martanová, Iveta ; Jecha, David (referee) ; Beňo, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor's work deals with technology of conception and production of biogas from biodegradable waste. In the introductory part there is elaboration of biogas facts, the principle of biogas origin and the usage of biogas in practice. The main part is dedicated to individual technology of the biogas production. There are descriptions of technological equipment for gas producing and descriptions of individual methods of waste processing indicating their advantages and disadvantages.
Legislature of the waste disposal and utilization of biodegradable materials
Pešl, Milan ; Pěček, Jan (referee) ; Beňo, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of this work is to give information about the issue of legislation of disposal and reuse of biodegradable waste. Legislation in the field of bio-waste in the Czech Republic and the EU is grouped into various laws and guidelines which describe particular conditions of the dumping of wastes, their subsequent processing and reuse. In this work, the definition of BDW, its composition and the current state of dealing with this type of waste in the EU and the Czech Republic is mentioned. Different methods of processing biodegradable waste, which include incineration, composting and anaerobic digestion, their advantages and disadvantages are described in this work. There are also introduced examples of BDW in the EU and the Czech Republic there.
Composting in the Czech Republic
Glombová, Pavla ; Horák, Marek (referee) ; Hluštík, Petr (advisor)
The aim of bachelor thesis is a description of the issue related to biological disposing of degradable waste by composting. It is concerned by the most important valid laws in this field, by technologies of composting and by the facilities used to dispose these waste – by composting facilities. In the practical part there is a compiled database of composting facilities in the Czech Republic, sorted by the regions. Their basic data are included (operator, address, website, contact information, capacity, used technology, amount of compost production, its price and utilization, accepted waste, used machinery and equipment, the year of commissioning, intensification).
Draft logistic model collection of biodegradable waste in the selected region.
SOUKUP, Radim
This thesis concentrates on the collection system of biogadable waste in a chosen locality. The method deals with the realization of a logistic model of biogradable waste in a locality. The introductory part provides a description of particular system of biogradable waste collection. The following part describes the calculation method and setting the particular parts of the system. The suggestions include descriptions and present experience with introducing this system in practice. The thesis describes the logistics of biodegradable waste collection for its further use. The collection is realized in three towns in Prachatice region. A technical estimate and calculation helped to determine the annual production of biodegradable waste depending on the feature of the origin. The calculation was made on the basis of ascertained data about well-kept municipal places, number of homes, areas and gardens. Considering the prevailing origin of biodegradable waste there was determined a delivery system of collection to a waste collection place with an aside container. Based on the total volume of ascertained production there was determined the capacity of containers in each town. According to the predicted capacity of the container, there were set the collection times and replacements done by an appropriate transport carrier. After researching the trails suitable for container transport there was chosen an optimal trail for collecting and accumulating the biodegradable waste. The choice of a landfill site originated from the real landfill site of municipal waste where the selection of biogradable waste was realized. The transport carrier which realizes the containers collection from the towns is located on this landfill site.
The Problematic of Biodegradable Waste in the Regions of the Czech Republic
SMRČINA, Tomáš
The goal of this thesis is to describe the issue of biodegradable waste, including its legislative act and the possibilities of other usage of biodegradable waste as unburdening products. The main aim of this thesis is to complete the logistic model for the delivery transportation of agricultural biodegradable waste. The concept of compost for the city Milevsko and its catchment area is made according to acquired figures from calculations. In the concept of compost was applied the figures from the acquired sources and the data related to the amount of the production of biodegradable waste in Milevsko during the year 2010. In relation to the acquired results was accomplished the economical evaluation of costs and revenues for the compost and its rate of return in the next years. For the city Milevsko is this topic current because this issue is not resolved here at all. The acquired findings from the economical result of the compost concept is summarized in the conclusion of the thesis.
conversion of biodegradable waste into pollution-free products
PUFR, Josef
This thesis deals with the conversion of biodegradable waste (BDW) into pollution-free products. The introduction addresses the specification of BRO, collection and identification of waste in the catalog and then the main means of transformation. The second part deals with the main objective of the proposal in Chýnov composting. This project involves collecting information, selecting a suitable location, design, technological lines, select the appropriate technical means, but also in the calculations of the composting area and its economic evaluation. Given the need to address this problem in Chýnov, it is likely that this proposal will be based on an actual project.
Evaluation of economic efficiency of the operation processing of biodegradable waste.
ŠIMSOVÁ, Štěpánka
Bachelor?s thesis dealt with the issue of composting of biodegradable waste. The aim was to evaluate the economy of Pacovská kompostárna operation (composting plant in Pacov) in comparison with similar plants. In general the whole composting process was monitored including the conditions for successful composting. Assessment of the permitting process and the composting operation was set in contemporary European and Czech legislative framework. The treatment of biodegradable waste in the system of these wastes management in Pacov was monitored especially with regard to economic data. Composting process and the following use of compost were evaluated in terms of current trends in the issue of composting, the compost modification and methods of use.
