Travel insurance from the view of assistance company

This bachelor's thesis describes and explains service of assistance companies in the range of assistance in travel insurance. It defines the concept of travel insurance, the scope and territorial validity of individual types of policies, and its many options. This work also seeks to provide information on products of selected insurance companies, compares them, and mentions interesting facts related to provided assistance and its terms and conditions. From the perspective of the assistance company, it describes the process of assistance services from deciding on the payment of the costs incurred, related powers and responsibilities that assistance company takes for the relevant insurance, to the legal definitions of this cooperation. In the conclusion, the thesis sheds light on trends and the importance of travel insurance.
Analysis of demand for travel insurance in Czech Republic

This bachelor thesis deals with travel insurance and insurance of travel agencies by law 159/1999. The first part deals with theoretical issues related to the topic of this work, in the second part I analyze some insurance companies which provide travel insurance in terms of services they offer and the level of rates for different types of insurance.
Comparison of the Czech and Canadian Automobile Insurance System

The thesis compares automobile insurance system in the Czech Republic with that of the province of Alberta, Canada. Automobile insurance system represents the framework consisting of third party liability coverage and first party coverages regardless of how many policies in total it is required to arrange. The first part of the thesis introduces the readers into automobile insurance system in the Czech Republic, the second part deals with the system being in existence in Alberta, Canada. The primary conclusion coming out of the thesis is the definition and explanation of the distinctions between the two systems, the consideration of implementing some components of the Canadian system into the Czech system (and conversely) is discussed afterwards.
Analysis of factors affecting stock prices of insurance companies

This diploma thesis analyzes the problems of factors influencing the behaviour of stock prices of insurance instruments. The first part defines types of analysis and specific stock insurance companies as business entities on the theoretical level. The other chapters analyze the performance of macroeconomic aggregates and their impact on share prices of insurance companies and compare specific characteristics of the insurance market and stock index shares representing insurance companies. The last part of the thesis implements technical analysis using graphical formations and technical indicators on the equity index insurance.
Accounting of chemist

Pharmaceuticals retail is in current consumer society highly spread. Chemists have to possess large quantity of assortment. The main target of my work was identify how large quantity of drug assortment affects accounting of accounting entity and also overall liquidity of a pharmacy. In the teoretical part I was dealing with determination of stock definition and stores accounts. I described standard process of supply acounting and certain specifics, which can be link up with stock. I stated methods of solidity calculation and stock turnovers and meanings of these indicators. In the practical part I analyzed the real stock accounting in the pharmacy. I described individual stages of stock taking, which are related with stock and evaluated stocktaking differences. Than I was dealing with stock pricing methods and supplies, which are influencing purchase prices of individual goods. I tried to highlight specifics which are linked up with drugs such as selling price setting according to VZP codebooks. In the end I calculated pharmacy liquidity and stock turnovers. I interpreted my results at tables and than I tried to analyze others factors which are influencing liquidity and stock turnovers.

In my thesis which is on the theme {\clqq} Insurance in the section of tourist trade`` I compare individual kinds of insurance in tourist trade in the Czech Republic and in European Union. Tourist Trade Insurance is a service providing the security against the accidental (unpredictable) affairs for the travel clients. The insurance guarantees to client the right for the payment a sum of money related with the refund of costs incured by an accidental affair. For an accidental affair is considered every affair, which is reasonably presumed to happen, but in the time of insuring procedure the clients don´t know when it happens and if it really happens. Travel Insurance is an insepareble part of travelling abroad. The principle matter of Travel insurance is the refund of medical costs, in the case, when you got ill or injured in foreign country. The Health Insurane Office uses the insurance for repaying the costs for medical treatment, hospitalization, meidicine, unavoidable transportation etc. The insurance can be settled for optional time from one day till on year.
Life Insurance in Czech Republic

This work demonstrates the significance of life insurance and describes types of life insurance and analyzes co-temporary development of these products. There is a review of the market in Czech Republic. The own research focused on the comparison of the offer of term assurances of particular insurers is the important part of the thesis. Finally is the recommendation for the expansion of this type of insurance included.
Analysis of developments in the Czech insurance market

The goal of this paper was to analyze the value of Czech insurance market in recent years in relation to factors which it operates. The first chapter focuses on general characteristics of the insurance market. This chapter mainly deals with the specific parameters of the insurance market. Another chapter focuses on the breakdown of the insurance market. Here I was more focused on life and non-life insurance. Both mention the general characteristics, insurance products and comparison with the EU. Another point on which to work refers to the entities of the insurance market. This chapter is divided into 2 parts. The first part deals with insurance companies, which are evaluated from different perspectives. The second part is devoted to insurance brokers who are an important part in offering insurance products. The last part focuses briefly on the regulation of the insurance market after EU accession. This part is rather devoted to EU directives. At the end are added two brief chapters. The first is the stock of joining the EU in terms of insurance. The second chapter summarizes the development of insurance market.
The analysis of Slovakia´s life insurance market

This thesis is aimed at the development and current situation on Slovakia's life insurance market. The first part discusses the impact and the structure of life insurance in general. It focusues on describing and comparing elements, which are typical for insurance, as well as its intermediares. The second part analyses public opinion on the question of life insurance. It shows the level of people's knowledge and awareness of this topic. It also provides insight into their need to take out this kind of insurance and what the main reason leading to this is. Views on providers and the importance of the overall life insurance market are summarized within a wide range of respondents, differing in age, gender and level of education.
Managing financial risks in an insurence company

The graduation thesis addresses the problems of managing and measuring of financial risks in activities of insurance companies. The first chapter handles the definitions of the financial risk and it classification. The second chapter defines a random variable returns of measure of financial assets. Sets up formulas of the return measure and also focuses on problem of time aggregation. The third chapter theoretically describes methodology of value at risk as the most widely used method for measuring and managing risk by insurance companies and regulatory authority. The fourth chapter contains an empirical study from practice which compares the two basic method of computing value at risk. The fifth chapter is the main part of the graduation thesis and focuses on verifying of the model and his imperfections. It verifies also achievements of initial assumptions. The sixth chapter targets on possibilities of extension value at risk method by liquidity risk incorporation.
