The Design and the Possible Practical Application of a Cooking Pot Handle 3D Model
Bezděk, Adam ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
The target of this bachelor thesis is designing and producing of a 3D model cooking pot handle with use of the modern 3D printing technologies. The virtual model of the cooking pot handle was produced with parametric program Autodesk Inventor and then printed by the Dimension uPrint 3D printer, which uses the Fused Deposition Modeling additive technology. The silicone mold was produced by using the printed master model. Then the model was molded from the two component plastic material into the silicone mold. Conclusion of this work contains technical-economic evaluation, where are both methods of producing the model compared.
Recycling plastics for 3D printing
Hellebrand, Martin ; Kolář, Ladislav (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
Purpose of this paper is analysis of basic Rapid Prototyping technologies including FDM. Technologies are compared in matter of possible recyclation of used materials. The largest recyclation potential appeared in case of FDM technology. There were conducted analysis of basic materials used in this method. Possible methods for recyclation were described. Finally, there were conducted economical analysis to evaluate viability of recyclation in case of FDM.
Design of 3D model Jawa 50 engine cylinder and its possible realization in production
Dusbaba, Michal ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This thesis deals with the 3D model design of the Jawa engine cylinder 50 produced by means of modern technologies with the use of CAD software. History of selected Jawa 50 motocycles was summarized in this thesis. In addition characteristics and analysis of used materials (additive and cast) were given to describe the Jawa 50 engine cylinder production. The parametric programme named SolidWorks was used for the Jawa engine cylinder 50 design. The principle of Rapid Prototyping additive technology was described and analysed as a part of this thesis as well as the detailed demonstration of one of these methods called Fused Deposition Modeling on a pilot model of the Jawa engine cylider. The thesis also elaborates on a pilot production of the real engine cylinder casting using technology of casting - namely the technology of precise casting with the use of meltable models. The thesis is concluded with discussing disputable steps undertaken in particular production phases.
Realization of the Combustion Engine 3D Model Using Additive Method Fused Deposition Modelling
Kadlec, Stanislav ; Kolář, Ladislav (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is the design and following production of the 3D model parts of the combustion engine using modern additive technology Rapid Prototyping. The virtual model was created in parametric software Autodesk Inventor 2014. Printing was carried out by the 3D printer called uPrint, using Fused Deposition Modeling technology. Conclusion of this work contains discussion about the problems during the creation of the assembly of the combustion engine model.
Construction and production of the floorball stick blade using Fused Deposition Modeling
Jelínek, Vít ; Dvořáček, Jan (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This work combines 3D printing technology (Rapid Prototyping) with the sports industry. Using mentioned modern technology was made functional model blade floorball stick, which originated in the engineering design 3D parametric software Autodesk Inventor. Work will explain the history of floorball and individual methods increasingly popular and more affordable 3D printing, through which could be modeled blade floorball stick. Conclusion contains techno-economic evaluation, where will be disclosed the pros and cons of the use of Rapid Prototyping technology in this sports industry.
Usage of modern technologies for production coupler wings for RC airplane
Ondříšek, Jan ; Dvořáček, Jan (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
The objective of the bachelor thesis is the design and manufacture of 3D model coupler for RC plane wings of the plane Krasna Helena. The parametric CAD programme SolidWorks will be used for modelling. For the production of the prototype part will be used additive Rapid Prototyping technology and Method Fused Deposition Modeling. The thesis will also deal with the manufacture of silicone mould that will be used to cast the required number of the required part of plastic. The work will be finished with technical and economic evaluation with the subsequent analysis and overall assessment of applied technology.
Application of FDM method for production of roof rack safety cover
Kasal, Ondřej ; Pekárková, Eva (referee) ; Dvořáček, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the production of functional part of the roof rack using the Fused Deposition Modeling method. The functional part of the roof rack was modeled in Autodesk Inventor and printed on a 3D printer uPrint. The thesis includes an introduction to the topic of FDM and description of custom modeling.
Production of replacement cogwheel using RP methods
Světlík, David ; Pekárková, Eva (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with problems of spare cogwheel production using Fused Deposition Modeling technology, compares produced part by FDM technology with part produced by conventional technologies and economical comparison of those technologies. Model, which is made using Autodesk Inventor, is created according to real gearbox of electric whisk. Spare cogwheel was printed in printer of REPRAP standard.
Usage of modern technologies to design beer glass for brewery Starobrno, a.s.
Kučera, Michal ; Nejedlý, Jindřich (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the use of the additive technology Rapid Prototyping for the design and the production of the beer glass model. The part of this work is to create the real 3D model of the beer glass with the parametric program SolidWorks with the subsequent description of available Rapid Prototyping technologies. Production of the beer glass will be implemented on the 3D printer uPrint with using the Fused Deposition Modeling method and compared with other available methods.
Application of modern methods for production of mobile phone storage stand
Tesař, Jaroslav ; Nejedlý, Jindřich (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
The thesis was made as a bachelor’s project on Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Brno University of Technology. In the theoretical part methods of Reverse Engineering were described. The principle of the following technology, the Rapid Prototyping, was also explained and the summary of advantages and disadvantages and use in technical practice for the most important methods was made. In the experimental part of the thesis the modern methods were applied for manufacturing a cell phone holder. By this the possibility of these technologies to work with complexly shaped models was verified. The casting to a silicon form was used as the alternative method of manufacturing. The summary of possibilities of manufacturing with these technologies and technical and economical evaluation were made in the end of the thesis.
