The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of competitiveness of the Czech Re-public in crop production. Competitiveness is compared with the Visegrad Four countries. The basic indicators are labor productivity, yield per hectare and trade balance. Part of the work is also a description of current Czech crop production and calculation of self-sufficiency on selected commodities.

Trávníček, V. Collation of Non-organic and Organic Viticulture in the Czech Republic. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2021. This diploma thesis is focused on comparing non-organic and organic viticultere in the Czech Republic. Overview of areas of vineyards and their structure, harvest of grapes, wine production and situation on the wine market in the Czech Republic are present. P.E.S.T.E. analysis of the wine sector in the Czech Republic was performed. Porter´s Five Forces analysis was also done. Overview of the current situation in organic wine production in the Czech Republic is present. Primary research was done in form of in-depth interviews and questionnaire survey. The questionnaire survey and was filled out by 61 vineries. The in-depth inter-view were done with wineries Kolby, Vinařství Kacetl, Dobrá Vinice, Vinařství Špetíci, Vinařství Trávníček a Kořínek, Zámecké Vinařství Bzenec and Mikrosvín Mikulov. The findings of this thesis are that currently from business point of view non-organic viticulture is more advantegous. Reccomendations to current and new winemakers include employing integrated regime, cooperating with Ekovín, developing wine tourism in the region, using the marketing potential of social networks, investing in professionally made website with translation to English and German, creating an eshop on the website with prices also available in euro and shipping to other countries.

Jirák, D. Proposal to increase the competitiveness of a small companies operating in the construction indsutry. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2020. The diploma thesis deals with proposal to increase the competitiveness of a small companies operating in the construction industry. Two companies were examined and a combination of non-financial approaches of the START Model and the Weckerte method was chosen as a means for these proposals. The diploma thesis is composed of two main parts. The theoretical part deals with chosen methods, concepts related to them and also concepts related to the name and fulfilment of the goal of this thesis. The result part deals with specific examined companies, in which the START Model and Weckerte's method are applied, of which subsequently resulted the strengths and weaknesses of both examined companies, based on which recommendations were set not only for specific examined companies but also for other small companies in the construction industry. The most important recommendations were expressed economically.

The objective of the bachelor's thesis is to assess the competitiveness of the Host publishing house. The first part of the thesis deals with the theoretical definition of the concepts of competition, competitiveness, competitiveness at the enterprise level, and tools for evaluating competitiveness used in this work. The next part characterizes the Czech book market and the Host publishing house and introduc-es important factors for the competitiveness of the publishing house. Additionally, individual analyzes explained in the theoretical part of the work are used. The final part of the work evaluates the analyzes performed and recommendations for maintaining the competitiveness of the publishing house are provided.
Systém obchodovania s emisnými kvótami v EU a jeho dopady na podnikovej úrovni

The bachelor thesis deals with the emissions trading system, which is an important tool of the European Union for combating climate change. Through emission ceilings and emissions trading, the system seeks to motivate participating companies and countries to reduce emissions. The aim of this work is to describe the development of the EU ETS and analyse the effectiveness of the system in a particular company in the Czech Republic. It focuses on the analysis of emissions, costs, environmental actions, and the competitiveness of the company within the system. The study also describes the term, carbon leakage, associated with the steel industry, to which the selected company also belongs. In this sector, there is a specific problem of relocating production beyond the borders of the European Union, where there are less stringent standards for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The practical part therefore examines, among other things, the situation of technological innovations in the steel industry and current solutions at the national and EU level.

The bachelor thesis is focused on the definition of selected approaches to competitiveness and their application to the countries of the Visegrad Group and Germany. The first part of the bachelor thesis deals with the definition of the concept of competitiveness at the country level, the introduction of various approaches to its evaluation and a description of the economic situation in selected countries. The second part of the work consists of a summary of the used approaches and their brief introduction. In the last part of the bachelor thesis, selected approaches are applied to evaluate competitiveness in the countries of Visegrad Group and Germany.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyze competitiveness of enterprises with animal production in the countries of the Visegrad Group. Part of the work also characterizes Slovak agriculture as a whole. Selected indicators characterize and identify development tendencies and position of Slovak animal production. Work analyzes productivity and efficiency according to the specialized livestock enterprises in the period 2015 - 2019. There is evaluated the level of development of agriculture in the V4 countries on the basis of the the so-called Hellwig model. The data are drawn mainly from the Eurostat and FADN EU databases.

The aim of this thesis is to assess the impact of loose monetary policy of Czech National Bank on the competitiveness of firms in the automotive industry. The impact of low interest rates and FX interventions is examined by using panel regression on a set of data from 336 firms in the period from 2009 to 2017. Data were drawn from the Orbis database. Results of the research are compared with other empirical studies.

The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to use indicators to evaluate competition in the energy market, to determine its development over time and to assess the possible impact on consumers. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part will be used to determine the theoretical basis and practical for their application. Financial indicators, the CR4 index, the PEST analysis, the Porte-rose model of the five forces and others serve as tools for evaluating competition. Financial analysis is showing us the internal layer of companies and with the help of PEST analysis and Porter's five forces model we look at the surroundings. In the end, there will be a comparison of the offered production, a comparison of condi-tions and prices of the selected production and an assessment of possible impacts on consumers. The final part will then be devoted to the outputs of his assess-ments.
Financial position and competitiveness of selected company

The aim of this thesis is to assess the financial position and competitiveness of the selected company and then give recommended proposals for improving the position of the company. The first, theoretical part of the thesis defines the basic concepts such as financial policy, financial management of the company, forms of financing and strategic analysis based on literary research. Furthermore, this part of the work concerns individual methods of financial analysis and fundamental concepts such as competitiveness and competition analysis. The practical part of the work focuses on the processing of a strategic analysis and financial analysis of the selected company and likewise an analysis of competition. Based on the results of these analyses, recommendations for improving the financial situation of the company and its competitiveness are given in the conclusion.
