Author: Eliška Drábková Title of the bachelor's thesis: Correlation of selected fitness indices and performance in throwing disciplines Supervisor: PhDr. Radim Jebavý, Ph.D. Year of the presentation: 2024 Objectives: To determine the minimum limit values for speed-power fitness tests in Czech performance female throwers. Methods: First, in our bachelor's thesis we applied a comparative analysis regarding fitness tests in throwing disciplines. Subsequently, we focused on the use of a quantitative method of questioning, when we mainly examined the level of speed-strength fitness tests of individual test subjects by means of a survey. The basic rules for the selection of the subjects were related to age (from 19 years old), a minimum of 650 points in the IAAF scoring tables and a minimum of 4 years of competition experience. We also defined the term "female representative" according to the established limits of the U19 SCM representation. We created bar graphs for individual speed-power fitness tests and established the limit level for Czech female throwers according to two criteria: the recommended limit given in the German literature (Killing a kol., 2011; Strüder a kol., 2017) and the test values found above the average of all Czech female throwing disciplines. Results: The correlation between selected...

Title: Athletic preliminary's trainings and their application to the natural environment Objectives: The aim of this thesis is the application of athletic training to the natural environment outside an athletic oval. Methods: In the theoretical part of my thesis the method of literature search was used where outdoor activities are described and the younger school age is characterized. Furthermore, the thesis compares a concept of athletic preliminary in the Czech Republic and abroad. The thesis concludes with the effects of hypokinesis. The practical part consists of methodological and didactical materials which are supported by an empirical training in an athletic club and also by studying at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport. The resultant trainings are suitable for athletic preliminary, i.e. for children under 12 years old. Results: The results are four regular training sessions on the oval together with four trainings in a natural environment with the same focus. Trainings focus on speed and coordination, games, jumps and throws and general training with hurdles. Conclusion: Children's athletic outside trainings open up new possibilities for various activities and bring many benefits. The natural environment is very diverse with unstable conditions and this can become a new challenge...

Hanuliaková, Júlia ; Žáková, Lenka (advisor) ; Stupková, Michaela (referee)
Title: Effect of trunk stabilization on throwing velocity in heptathlon and decathlon athletes Background: Throwing disciplines are an important part of combined track and field events. A stable trunk is a necessary component of the kinematic chain in the generation of force during throwing. Throwing is usually ineffective if the leg and trunk muscles are unable to generate sufficient force or if there is no transfer of energy to the throwing arm. This paper examines the effect of trunk stabilization on throwing velocity. Objective: The aim of the study was to investigate whether it is possible to increase the throwing velocity of heptathlon and decathlon athletes by using exercises aimed at improving trunk stabilization. Methods: Measurement of throwing velocity using sports radar, assessment of trunk stabilization level using Janda's stereotype of push-up, Kolar's bear test and deep squat test and McGillʹs torso muscular endurance test battery. Results: During the ten-week intervention focused on trunk stabilization, the experimental group experienced an average improvement in throwing velocity of 5.76 km/h (8.9%). The control group, continuing with standard training, experienced only a slight improvement in throwing velocity of 1 km/h (2%). In the evaluation of trunk stabilization, the...
