The application aspects of thermochromic textile coating

V diplomové práci je prezentovaná literární rešerše na téma termochromní pigmenty a jejich aplikace v polymerních matricích. Výzkum byl zaměřen na hlubší pochopení termochromního efektu v pigmentech na bázi molekulárních komplexů. Termochromní pigmenty byly aplikovány do polyuretanového textilního zátěru a bylo zjištěno optimální nastavení podmínek zátěru. Textilní zátěry byly podrobeny termickým zkouškám a zároveň byla pozorována jejich stálobarevnost.

Využití různých metod izolace entomopatogenních a mykoparazitických hub z různých podmínek prostředí

Abstract The main objective of this work was to test methods for isolating entomopathogenic fungi from different environmental conditions. In the first experiment, entomopatho-genic fungi B. bassiana, M. brunneum, I. fumosorosea and L. muscarium were inocu-lated in pairs into sterile soil substrate and incubated for 50 days. Compatibility anal-ysis was performed after 14 and 50 days of incubation. The results were compared with those on day 0 when the control suspensions were used to establish tests to assess the number of colony-forming units (CFU). The results showed that entomopathogenic fungi can be easily isolated from soil using the routine method of dodine selective nutrient soil. At the same time, the interaction between species was recorded from photographic documentation. The second experiment focused on the application of the entomopathogenic fungi I. fumosorosea and L muscarium and the mycoparasitic fun-gus T. virens to cucumber plant leaves. The results of this experiment also show that both entomopathogenic fungi and mycoparasitic fungus can be easily isolated even from the phylloplane entomopathogenic fungi using dodine-based selective medium and mycoparasitic fungus T. virens using Trichoderma selective medium (TSM). It was also shown that relative humidity is important for the growth and development of entomopathogenic fungi after preventive application to cucumber plant leaves.

Metody dekontaminace rekombinantních proteinů od bakteriálního lipopolysacharidu

In this work, three decontamination methods based on two-phase micellar system and affinity chromatography were used to decontaminate recombinant proteins from bacterial lipopolysaccharide and to determine which method is the most effective. The efficiency of this method was measured using various recombinant proteins at several protein concentrations. Three different assays, two chromogenic and one fluorogenic, were used to measure the concentration of endotoxins in samples. The most accurate method for measuring the concentration of endotoxins was determined.

The Oligarchy of the Four Hundred in Athens in 411 B. C. E.

Before 1891, it was commonly accepted that the most important source for the rule of the Four Hundred in Athens in 411 BCE was Thucydides' description. The situation changed thanks to the publication of the Aristotelian treatise On the Athenian Constitution, whose version of events differed markedly from Thucydides' one. There followed many attempts at determining which of the two versions was most reliable, or at combining the two versions. These controversies are the focal point of this thesis, but its ambitions are not limited to them: its ambition is also to reconstruct the chronology of the rule of the Four Hundred as precisely as is possible in context of the Peloponnesian war; and to formulate the limitations that are imposed on us by the character of sources at our disposal. Continuity of the coup with earlier developments and its impact on subsequent events are dealt with more briefly.

Analýza množství extraktivních látek a barvy dřeva dubu zimního

This thesis assesses the experimental findings of the total content of extractives and of the shared content of phenolic substances in wood extracts of the Sessile oak (Quercus petraea) from four different locations in the southern region Pfälzer Wald in the Rheinland-Pfalz Federal Republic of Germany. Moreover, the thesis measures the wood colour in CIE Lab besides focusing only on chemical analysis. The theoretical part outlines general facts about the macroscopic and microscopic structure of the wood (Quercus pertaea). Also, it discusses in detail the issue of colour and chemical composition of wood with a focus on accompanying components. The chapter Methodics describes the process of the entire experiment for the possibility of repeatability of the measurement. The results of this work show mean values of the parameters of the colour L* = 66,7; a* = 7,0; b* = 20,8. Dependence on the total content of the extracts in the wood of the Sessile Oak is not statistically evaluated for these values. The total average content of extracts in wood is assessed at 6,7 % and the content of phenolic substances represents 3,4 %. It is detected that the own colour of wood and also the content of extractives may be affected by the location of growth or even by the position itself within the trunk radius.

The aim of the thesis on "Evaluation of the color of honey" was to determine why the instrument can not Lovibond Honey Colorpod 440110 to evaluate color of all types of honey and compare results of with spectrophotometric measurement methods. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is dedicated to honey, its composition and methods of evaluating color. The practical part describes the results obtained instrument Lovibond Honey Colorpod -- 440110, spectrophotometers Konica Minolta -- 3500d a FT -- NIR Antaris. In UV/VIS region not been demonstrated reason of errors of photometer. Maximum lightness had a very light honeys and the largest share of yellow had light honey. The highest values of absorbance attain dark honeys. In color space CIE L* a* b* had the largest share of red. Evaluation of the color of honey in the UV/VIS can not prove adulteration of honey always unambiguously, but there are signs by which honey can be described as suspicious. By analyzing the NIR spectrum is falsification of honey demonstrated using discriminant analysis.
