Cohesice zone model application for ductile fracture

The approarch based on the experimental and numerical procedure for the cohesive parameters determination for ductile fracture has been tested. Given data were used for the crack growth prediction in case of the ductile fracture.
Estimation of stress singularity exponent and threshold stress for crack propagation through an interface between two orthotropic materials

The paper deals with determination of the stress singularity exponent in the case, when the crack tip is touching the interface between two orthotropic materials. In this case the threshold stress for crack propagation through bi-material interface is estimated.
Plasticity induced crack closure for specimens with different geometries

The article is solving problem of plasticity induced crack closure for specimens with different geometries. The specimens with low level of constraint (MT-specimen) produced higher level of opening stress intensity factor than specimen with high level of constraint (CT-specimen). It was concluded that for better estimation of residual fatigue life of structures is necessary to consider effects of crack closure.
