Důsledky antiarytmických léčiv na srdeční energetiku
Převorovská, Světlana ; Maršík, František
The numerical model of the human cardiovascular system of pulsating type imitating the electrochemical and mechanical activity of the heart muscle was used to the simulation of the antiarrhythmic drugs on cardiac energy parameters. The numerical model developed at the Institute of Thermomechanics CAS gives the information about the antiarrhythmic drugs effects on cardiac energy parameters such as myocardial oxygen consumption, left ventricle stroke work. Cardiac oxygen demand is closely related to the cardiac afterload and therefore major goal of therapeutic treatment by way of antiarrhythmics use is to reduce systemic blood pressure.
Remodelace živé kosti indukované dynamickým zatížením a dodáním léčiv – Numerické modelování a klinická terapie
Maršík, František ; Klika, V. ; Chlup, H.
The bone remodelling process is described by five ordinary differential equations for the concentrations of five relevant chemical components - mononuclear cells, old bone, osteoblast activators, osteoid and new bone. Driving force of bone remodelling process is a dynamic loading which strongly influences the rate of chemical reactions. The evolution from the homogeneous density distribution to the cancellous bone formation is shown. An influence of a dynamic mechanical loading and osteoprotegerin concentration is demonstrated. Bone deformations were calculated by commercial code ANSYS.
Napěťová analýza radiální náhrady a Souterovy endoprotézy v loketním kloubu
Hlavoň, Pavel ; Kolář, M.
Upon the initiative of the medical team at Traumatological Hospital in Brno, efforts are invested to create possible partial joint replacements of the proximal end of the radius and also proper design of Souter’s endoprothesis in the elbow articulation that would suitably replace the patient’s missing bone tissue and, at the same time, to preserve the same functionality of the radio-humeral connection. This paper speaks about potential geometrical and computational models of a partial joint replacement, Souter’s implant and their stress analysis.
