Comparison of usual and energy approaches for assessments of fatigue lives
Svoboda, Jaroslav ; Balda, Miroslav
The contribution deals with seeking of links between fatigue lives of parts under harmonic and random loadings. Two different approaches are compared. The first starts from assumption of equal times to failure under equal standard deviations of both processes. The second approach is based on equality of energy amounts spent by both processes to failure.
The influence of variable disc damping in cog-wheels on qualitative properties of dynamics of non-linear parametric systems
Hortel, Milan ; Škuderová, Alena
The problem of the influence of time variable damping, induced by lightening disc holes of cog wheels, in the gear mesh is solved in the frame of analysis of internal dynamics of high-speed light transmissive systems with minimum dimensions. This highly actual problem, for example in a single branch of power flow, influences in a decisive manner the dynamic properties of whole global system of engine. The problem is important not only in an aviation and automobile industry, but also by the heavy vehicles of a defence industry with a limiting space for the drive units.
Dynamics of Machines 2011
Pešek, Luděk
The aim of the Colloquium was to facilitate the exchange of up to date information and knowledge among specialists in solid mechanics. The main attention was focused on: continuum dynamics, impact and non-linear phenomena, crack propagation, constitutive models, dynamics of linear and non-linear systems, identification, chaos, vibrations, interaction of mechanical systems and fluids, modern computational mechanics and experiments.
Dynamics of three twisted blades with inter-slip couplings
Pešek, Luděk
Three-dimensional FE modelling and dynamic analysis of three-twisted-blade bunch connected mutually in blade heads by the dynamic contact with friction. The bunch was numerically tested under two dynamic regimes, such as resonance run-up excitation and vibration decay after short resonance run-up. In the contribution the influence of the blade responses, contact states, damping ratios on excitation level and excitation regimes is discussed.
Excitation of blade vibration under rotation by synchronous elektromagnet
Vaněk, František ; Pešek, Luděk ; Bula, Vítězslav ; Cibulka, Jan
The procedure for design of blade vibration excitation by synchronous electromagnets is presented. Its verification was performed on the test wheel by two-point electromagnetic excitation of blades under rotation.
Various types of dry friction characteristics
Půst, Ladislav ; Pešek, Luděk
The dry friction processes is described by a general Coulomb friction law with respecting of micro-slips at the very low velocity, difference between static and dynamic coefficients, etc. For numerical calculation it is suitable to replace strongly nonlinear function by an equivalent linear damping coefficient.
Further application of parametric anti-resonance
Tondl, A. ; Půst, Ladislav
This contribution completes the series of work oriented on active reduction of unacceptable vibrations by means of parametric excitation fulfilling certain conditions. It is shown that this phenomenon can be used not only for suppression of selfexcited vibrations or parametric resonances, but also of nonlinear resonances arising outside the region of main resonances in the vicinity of eigenfrequencies as are subharmonic resonances.
