Stabilizace MKP pro vazkou nestlačitelnou tekutinu modifikovanou metodou GLS
Burda, P. ; Novotný, Jaroslav ; Šístek, J.
We deal with 2D flows of incompressible viscous fluid with higher Reynolds numbers. Galerkin Least Squares technique of stabilization of the finite element method is investigated and its modification is described. A number of numerical results is presented. Positive as well as negative properties of stabilization are discussed.
Mathematical modeling of the flow through an elastic tube
Štembera, Vítězslav ; Chlup, Hynek ; Maršík, František
The simulation of the fluid flow through elastic pipes has a great application in a blood flow through human vessels – investigation of such phenomena as an atheriosclerosis generation in artery walls, the Korotkoff's sounds generation or modeling of vascular mechanical substitutes (the so called stents) and is therefore widely studied. In this text we focus on the flow through collapsible pipes.
Detection of the pulse wave velocity in an elastic tube
Chlup, Hynek ; Macková, H. ; Vilímek, M. ; Žitný, R. ; Konvičková, S.
The velocity of the pulse wave in blood vessels is one of the important hemodynamical parameters to detect health condition or a degree of damage of a diseased artery. To understand the problem, the physiological values must be known. In our laboratory, the velocity of pulsewave in elastic tubes and arteries is measured in vitro by non-invasive method. The method is based on optical measurements of displacement of the pulsating pipe wall. A crash test camera with high frame rate of 1000 Hz (fps) was used.
Physical and mathematical modeling of effects of velopharyngeal insufficiency on acoustic characteristics of human vocal tract
Horáček, Jaromír ; Vampola, T. ; Veselý, Jan ; Růžička, P.
The effects of velopharyngeal insufficiency or clefting on acoustic frequency-modal characteristics of human supraglottal spaces are investigated for the Czech vowels /a/ and /u/. Finite element (FE) modelling is supported by experimental investigation using a physical model of the vocal and nasal tract fabricated by the rapid prototyping technique from the FE model.
Effect of time integration on dispersion properties of quadratic finite elements in elasto-dynamics
Kolman, Radek ; Okrouhlík, Miloslav ; Plešek, Jiří
In the paper, the dispersion relationships of plane quadratic finite elements for central difference method and Newmark's method are derived. The graphs for the mesh density and time step check wtih respect the dispersive behaviour are presented.
Elastický tenzor druhého řádu pro obecný Hillův tenzor přetvoření
Poživilová, Alena ; Plešek, Jiří
The tangent moduli for an arbitrary Hill´s strain tensor were derived. It can be used particularly for the diagonal deformation gradient to derive the velocity of waves propagating in the prestressed medium.
Drive systems in the mechatronics objects
Kratochvíl, Ctirad ; Procházka, František ; Pulkrábek, J.
Periodical behavior of dynamic mechatronic system is described in this paper. Chaotic atractors are depended on initial conditions and structure.
Analytical, numerical and experimental investigation of non-stationary state of stress in a thin viscoelastic plate
Adámek, V. ; Valeš, František
Presented work deals with solution of non-stationary state of stress in a thin viscoelastic plate.
Wave propagation simulations by molecular dynamics methods
Pelikán, Vladimír ; Hora, Petr ; Machová, Anna
We present large-scale molecular dynamic simulations of wave propagationin alfa-iron based on an N-body potential model which gives a good descriptionof anisotropic elasticity. We show that the basic behavior of the simulations is inagreement with the predictions of continuum models.
Dispersion curves in plate of cubic anisotropy
Hora, Petr ; Červená, Olga
The mathematical technique for obtaining dispersion curves for stresswaves in free plates of arbitrary anisotropy is outlined. The dispersion relations forpropagation in a (001)-cut cubic plate are obtained. The dispersion curves for Cuare presented. These results are compared to the uncoupled SV and P modes.
