Zařízení pro výrobu kónicky zúžených optických vláken
Martan, Tomáš ; Novotný, K. ; Honzátko, Pavel ; Kaňka, Jiří
The paper deals with technology of manufacturing fiber tapers that are made by heating and stretching a standard optical fiber (e.g. SMF, PCS or MOF) in a heat source. For fabrication of the fiber tapers have been designed and assembled the apparatus that is propelled with motors and controlled by a PC and other electronic equipments. Manufactured tapered optical fibers can be used e.g. in nonlinear optics, for various types of fiber evanescence chemical sensors and holography. 482
Mikropočítačový řídící systém pro výrobu optických tyčí a trubic
Kostka, František
A control system for the production of optical tubes and rods was developed in the IREE AS CR, as a continuation of prior effort to control drawing process of optical fibres. The latter system was modified; in particular in the power driving unit a newly constructed pulling device was added, enabling, with the help of an array of pulleys and a town belt, the drawing of optical tubes and rods.
Optimalizace algoritmu pro rekonstrukci dat z frekvenčně rozlišeného optického hradlování využívajícího křížovou fázovou modulaci v silně dvojlomném mikrostrukturním vlákně
Vraný, Boleslav ; Honzátko, Pavel ; Kaňka, Jiří
We implemented a frequency resolved optical gating (FROG) measurement method using cross-phase modulation (XPM) in a microstructured optical fiber. The standard FROG reconstruction algorithm failed for this setup and we used the genetic algorithm (GA) instead. Although GA is slower, it is less prone to get stuck to local minima. Several parameters of GA need to be adjusted. We present the optimization process and the optimal parameters for theoretically simulated data.
Sondy pro analýzu integrity signálu
Žilka, Zdeněk ; Berka, Zbyněk ; Braun, Jaromír
Models of probes and their physical and electrical connections to the point of measurements in testing of ultra-high-speed boards fror compliance with signal integrity are provided. The aim is, to minimize the loading effect of the probe and to see the most exact replica of the signal.
