New electronics for laser harp
Takács, Peter ; Kříž, Tomáš (oponent) ; Szabó, Zoltán (vedoucí práce)
The aim of this thesis is to describe in detail the design of the electronics of a laser harp. This thesis does research on the history of digital musical instruments designed since the very beginning of electronic music. Furthermore, this paper debates over the advantages and disadvantages of the laser harp designs. This thesis lists the most common types of sound synthesis and includes the design of a power amplifier circuit. It writes about the output types this digital device has. The design of the power supply circuit and other necessary circuits, such as voltage converters, which are responsible for providing the correct voltages for all the various circuits and devices are also thoroughly detailed. The paper reviews the advantages and disadvantages of several optical sensors with different characteristics. This thesis also describes the steps of designing a High-Pass filter to filter out the unwanted ambient light. This documentation also describes a simple mist generator system, which distributes water vapor into the air. Moreover, it also describes the role of the microcontroller in this circuit and how it controls the individual elements. The thesis describes how to operate the device.
Stress testing of email communication
Takács, Peter ; Sikora, Marek (oponent) ; Člupek, Vlastimil (vedoucí práce)
This thesis deals with the improvement of SMTP and Mail Reader Samplers for JMeter that allow the selection of specific network interfaces, support for IPv6, and the ability to test using multiple source IP addresses and ports and the development of a new module that can start and stop email server services. The theoretical part focuses on the protocols used in email communications, including SMTP, IMAP, and POP3, and the functionality of performance testing. The practical part focuses mainly on improving the SMTP Sampler, Mail Reader Sampler, and the development of the new Email Server Emulator module. It also tests the functionality and impact of the new features and modules. The results of these tests are analyzed at the end of this thesis.
