Extraction of impedance model circuit parameters and its emulation
Semenov, Dmitrii ; Brančík, Lubomír (oponent) ; Šotner, Roman (vedoucí práce)
In this bachelor’s thesis, two MATLAB optimization algorithms were introduced: the first is for extracting zero/pole numbers and their frequency of integer-order complex frequency "s" systems. This algorithm was verified on active and passive Band-Pass (BP), Band-Reject (BR) filters, and bilinear sections. The second algorithm approximates the fractional order characteristics with a given number of zeros/poles using particle swarm optimization. It was verified on bioimpedance sample, which is orange juice. A custom Printed Circuit Board (PCB) based on custom Operational Transconductance Amplifiers (OTA) fabricated in the I3T25 350nm process was developed to emulate the bioimpedance characteristics with parameters extracted from the algorithm. The emulation results were then compared in terms of accuracy to the commercial software NOVA Metrohm for electrochemical analysis.
