Nanodevices on graphene prepared by AFM mechanical lithography
Lipták, Daniel ; Kovařík, Martin (oponent) ; Švarc, Vojtěch (vedoucí práce)
This Bachelor’s thesis is about testing the possibility and efficiency of using Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) mechanical lithography as a means of preparation of nano-structures on graphene. Using Kelvin Probe Force Microscopy (KPFM), the insulating capabilities of prepared barriers are then verified.
Possibilities of preparing nanoelectronic devices on graphene using AFM
Lipták, Daniel ; Čech, Vladimír (oponent) ; Bartošík, Miroslav (vedoucí práce)
In this master’s thesis, we focused on the study and preparation of nano-structures on graphene by local anodic oxidation. Our attention was put on the isolating capabilities of oxidized graphene, which was studied by surface electric potential mapping, using Kelvin probe force microscopy, with simultaneous transport measurement. The obtained results indicate the doubling of resistance by line interruption oxidation. Finally, nanoconstriction of micrometer dimensions was fabricated and studied under different relative humidities, in the range of 3% to 60%.
