Experimental and numerical investigation of vibroimpact system with Hertz's contact
Půst, Ladislav ; Kocanda, Lubomír ; Peterka, František
The static characteristic force versisus deformation of teh used hemispheres made of weak elastic material was measured and used as a mathematical model of Hertz's stops. Measured dynamical properties agree with response curves obtained by numerical simulation in the resonance influenced by the strong nonlinearities very well.
Self excited two-mass system with soft impacts
Tondl, Aleš ; Kocanda, Lubomír
To a basic one-mass self-excited system a tuned absorber is attachedthe motion of which is influenced by soft impacts. The self-excitation is consideredas of van der Pol type one. The stops are symmetrically situated to the absorbermass equilibrium position. The results of numerical simulation are presented indiagrams showing the measure of extreme deflection of the basic system mass tothe amplitude of the basic system vibration without absorber in dependence on thetuning coefficient of the absorber.
Vyšetřování silně nelineárních kmitavých systémů
Kocanda, Lubomír
Experimentálně, teoretickými prostředky a pomocí numerických simulací byly vysvětleny některé základní jevy vyskytující se v kmitavých systémech s měkkými rázy s konstatováním dobré shody výsledků užitých postupů. Analytické řešení vysvětlilo jev tzv. silných a slabých rázů a důvod stabilního přechodu hranice tvořené grazing bifurkací. Byly navrženy nové metody pro vyšetřování lokální stability a porovnány s běžně užívanými.
Self-excited oscilator with soft stops
Tondl, Aleš ; Kocanda, Lubomír
A self-excited system with one degree of freedom the motion of which is influenced by symmetrically situated soft stops in a certain distance from the equilibrium position is analysed. The stops are characterized by additional spring stiffness and stop deformation. The maximum deflection of the oscillator decreases with decreasing the stop distances and with increasing the stop stiffness and damping due to the stop deformation.
Analytical approaches of local stability investigation applied to piecewise linear vibrating system - Kelvin-Voigt impact oscillator
Kocanda, Lubomír
Dynamical behaviour of soft impact oscillator is multifarious with plenty of manifold behaviour kinds commensurated with system parameters. The stability analysis of soft impact oscillator is very important for dynamic investigation. Floquet theory or Ljapunov exponent approach can be applied in numerical integration. However, contrary to numerical integration results processing, the analytic-numerical approaches give better view of the dynamical nub despite its' facing mutual very diverse terms. Approaches based on eigenvalue problem and small difference method presented in authors past papers are eked out with this contribution. This paper aim is to obtain the result of the local stability investigation approaches in analytical form.
Chaotic Motions of Impact Oscillator with Kelvin-Voigt Impact Model Investigated by Numerical Simulation
Kocanda, Lubomír
Soft impact oscillator with one degree of freedom containing soft stop is considerd. The ways of the system to the chaotic motion are dealt with. Various ways to this regime are presented with corresponding examples and commented in this contribution.
Application of two appropriate analytical approaches to the piecewise linear system stability analysis of periodic motion based on eigenvalue and small difference methods
Kocanda, Lubomír
Stability analysis of piecewise linear systems could be solved either by numerical simulation or by analytical methods. This paper contribution is to introduce several ways of the system stability investigation by means of methods using linearisation in perturbation. Several approaches are counted in. Their results are compared and discussed.
Experiments with double oscillator with soft impacts
Kocanda, Lubomír ; Peterka, František
Results of the experimental investigation of a double-impact oscillator model and comparison of differences in measurement approaches of systems with rigid and soft impact are presented. The sensitivity of initial conditions for the particular motion of these systems is high, especially when soft impacts are included. Several points worth mentioning and having in mind during the measurement.
Uvádí poznatky o chování systémů s tvrdými rázy a předkládá zatím dosažené výsledky vyšetřování systémů s měkkými rázy. Uvedená problematika je sledována v oblasti numerických simulací, experimentu i teoretického odvození.
