Quantum key distribution test polygon
Širjov, Jakub ; Horváth, Tomáš (oponent) ; Látal, Michal (vedoucí práce)
The aim of this masters thesis is to explain quantum key distribution (QKD) and principle of signal transmission in the quantum channel. Further this thesis complains commercial distributors of QKD technologies and their individual appliances. Practical part of the thesis is separated to 3 parts. First part handles transmission of quantum keys in QKDNetsim simulator. Second part takes care of design and creation of a test polygon that allows for testing of many optical network configurations with quantum signal and normal data traffic being transmitted in a single fiber. Multiple simulations of use of various filter types to supress the signal noise in the program VPIphotonics and tested by QKDNetsim are shown in the last part of this thesis.
Aerial platform built on operating system FlytOS
Širjov, Jakub ; Štůsek, Martin (oponent) ; Pokorný, Jiří (vedoucí práce)
The aim of this bachelor's work is creation of functional model of flying platform that can carry additional devices. The platform is designed to maintain continuous connection with the base station and to create an access point for a particular area. The flying platform has FlyOS installed, which facilitates control of the flying platform. Another part of the work describes steps for simulation of the first automated flight in FlytSIM with a preset parameter of rotation during flight. The platform's functionality is then verified by using manual remote control and also by simulated automated flight in real conditions. Final part shifts attention to the algorithm used for the computation of the rotation of the flight waypoints direction in degrees towards the base station based on the input data. In the case of large distances between the flight waypoints, it computes coordinates and the rotation of the UAV.
Testing Polygon For Quantum Key Distribution
Širjov, Jakub
The article explains issues in QKD and their sources. It next describes principle of QKDoperation and its individual parts that are required for its function. Part of the article includes simulationsfrom QKDNetsim and NS-3 that show possibilities of the simulation, that were used to createexemplary simulations for future check of QKD traffic on the test polygon.
