Government simulation game
Dekánek, Matúš ; Zajíček, Ondřej (advisor) ; Zavoral, Filip (referee)
The aim of this work is to design and implement a model of state`s economy and to use it in a game. The virtual world contains centers of production, which can be full of various productions. These buy raw materials and sell their products earning a profit. The model is designed to be very flexible and allows broad setting possibilities. A player should be able to gain profit and major market share trough proper investments and adjusting parameters of his production capacities. There is also a simple computer opponent in the game, to compete with for the market share. The game has GUI, the model as such is independent on the user interface. The program was implemented using a multi-platform open-source library wxWidgets for c++, it can therefore run both on linux and Windows OS.
VoIP for an embedded system
Magic, Ľuboš ; Kolovratník, David (advisor) ; Zajíček, Ondřej (referee)
The aim of this work is to create an application used to internet telephony over the IP networks with support of the SIP application protocol. The application is focused on low system requirements, therefore it could be used in the embedded system. This document informs about the most signicant principles of used application protocols, such as SIP, SDP and RTP. An important part of the work is a conclusion of the nal application. It consists of the discussion about the compatibility with others implementations, system requirements and the possibilities of variable controls extension. The end of this work is dedicated to possible improvements, discussion about the future development and informations about usability of the implementation in a real embedded system.
Syntax directed editor
Outlý, Matěj ; Zajíček, Ondřej (advisor) ; Kolovratník, David (referee)
Design and implementation of the program core, which uses syntax of the formal language, parses the input text and aplies the results in indentation and source code highlighting. The goal is to describe the way of the language processing given by formal grammar and to design the application, which builds on this principles.
Economic simulation
Meluzín, Jiří ; Zajíček, Ondřej (advisor) ; Majerech, Vladan (referee)
Design and implementation of economy society simulation (at country level). The aim is to simulate comodities and financy flow, supply and demand progress at each market and evolution of the cities. Exactnest of the simulation is not important, but the entertainment and the education aspects. The simulation should contains interactive graphic enviroment, which provides way to influence simulation model.
Economic Strategy Game
Michalík, Petr ; Zajíček, Ondřej (advisor) ; Yaghob, Jakub (referee)
The subject of the present work is a design and an implementation of an Economic Strategy Game. The basis of the game is a simulation on multi-town level - it simulates a production, a commodity and money flow and a development of villages and towns. The exactness isn't the mail goal of this program, but its ease of use and customizability of the simulation. The aim is to have an application which provides a entertaining simulations of worlds defined by the user. The goal of the player in the game is to earn money by trading.
Abstract economic model with interface for user-defined agents
Hlava, Dalibor ; Zajíček, Ondřej (advisor) ; Majerech, Vladan (referee)
Title: Abstract economic model with interface for user-defined agents Author: Dalibor Hlava Department: Department of Theoretical Computer Science and Mathematical Logic Supervisor: Mgr. Ondřej Zajíček, Department of Theoretical Computer Science and Mathematical Logic Abstract: The work comprises of simple economical, fully customizable model, that allows user or his agent to interact with world to maximize selected key performance indicators (happiness or population growth). Keywords: simulation, model, GUI
Distributed Monitoring System for Wireless Networks
Roder, Michal ; Zajíček, Ondřej (advisor) ; Kolovratník, David (referee)
The goal of this thesis is a monitoring system composed of several programs that allow observing events primarily on wireless etworks. These programs should be easily modi able by adding additional capabilities. Main aim is at collecting and sharing of data, interpreting and processing it is of secondary importance. The thesis contains user and programmer documentation for all the programs.
Algorithms for scheduling with conflicts
Zajíček, Ondřej ; Sgall, Jiří (advisor) ; Čepek, Ondřej (referee)
Scheduling with conflicts supposes graph of conflicts. Vertices of that graph represent machines and edges represent conflicts between them. Every machine can be switched on or switched off . Two conflicting machines cannot be both switched on at the same time. At certain times new tasks arrive to speci c machines and enqueue to its input buff ers. Each machine continuously processes tasks from its input bu ffer whenever it is switched on. An algorithm decides which machines should be switched on or switched o ff at any time, obeying conflict constraints. The objective is to schedule machine switching to minimize the maximum bu er size of all processors. The problem is online, so an algorithm has to make decisions about current con ffiguration without knowledge of future tasks. In this thesis I consider the algorithm based on maximization of scalar product of work vector (vector describing con guration of machines) and vector of bu ffer lengths. I prove that this algorithm is well de ffined, finite on every input and for speciffi c graph (path of length 3) it has competitive ratio of 7=3. Further I consider possibilities of implementation of that algorithm.
