Residential Complex in Brno - Komín

The concept is based on the possibilities of transport service territory, which is an effort to involve as few cars in the town center. Due to the isolation of cars outside the group, semi-public space gets added value, which is a residential garden. Urban structure building blocks, called. Nests, which are designed to clearly define a hierarchy of outdoor space. Its diverse gear, can create a variety of situations where the courtyard opens before us, we in turn could fit in between the street and be guided by their structure. Block size based on the optimal size of the courtyards shaped by outdoor space. This creates a clearly defined place like alley, street, garden, grove and orchard. The yard is situated in the middle of the living space and creates its center. This is supplemented by a small trade facilities. The courtyard are also situated residential gardens to increase the level of privacy inhabitants. Other gardens are flush to the existing gardens.

In recent decades, the city of Brno has been facing increasing demands on living and working spaces. Rather than expanding the city's boundaries, however, it is necessary to embark on the development of already defined blocks or vacant-lots. At the same time, in a time of rapidly changing demands of the population, it is appropriate to consider the possibilities of variability of the buildings themselves in order to respond flexibly to the situation. The diploma thesis deals with the topic of social housing and the possibilities of its variability - as a tool for regulating rental prices in Brno. The result is a modular gallery building on Francouzská street. The parterre is dedicated to the catering facilities and community clubhouse linked to both the street and the courtyard.

Urbanism conception is inspirated by fragmented structure and courtyards of Staré Brno. The house is dividend into five blocks, which corresponds with scale of surrounding built-up area. First floor (shops, restaurant, multicultural hall, entrances to the apartments and the office) and second floor (Office), they are separated from higher floors with apartments. First and second floors have large-formated glass. Living part (from third to seventh floor) has white facade which gives sunlight to areas between blocks. Bay windows is significant element on facade. It stands out above the surface 35 centimeters. It makes structure and shadows on facade. The multicultural hal lis placed in courtyard.

Urban concept is based on the hierarchy of the public space, through to semi-private. The entire file is divided into several blocks that constitute the "outdoor rooms", thus ensuring a certain degree of privacy from the outside world, no one would have to close up the house. This arrangement should also promote and outdoors, and encourage mutual interactions among residents.A diverse mix of buildings allows for a greater variety of people who will live here. The structure offers accommodation for single, couple, starting a family or large family with children. At the end of the plot are located villas with luxury apartments overlooking the Chimney. This means that "someone is always home" and social progress and better control of the streets and thereby increasing the feeling of safety.

The proposed facility is located in the town of Brno in the gapcross the street, a hallmark of the specified property is it that the building will create a street corner with Cross Street MendlovýmSquare and Wenceslas Square. The basic concept of the housebased oncharacter of of the place to which it is proposed .Originally it was grown on historical buildings, which were, however, the growth of Brno, was demolished and was notcompleted. Due to the planned intervention in the organization of transport within the Mendel Square is the site you enter at thebuilding enclosure. After a short Glossary topic, it was found that the land, and the related land is wholly owned by the city, so Ifinally decided to use the project Municipal multifunctionalbuilding adjacent to pozeky awarded by and to respect propertyrights, while the project was beneficial for existing buildingsSuffering from a lack of private parking and a reduced quality ofthe courtyard. The building respects the height of surroundinghouses, which naturally emphasizes the corner of the street toWenceslas, and the Mendel Square. The building complements the block of houses in the area and consolidate visuall. The dominant feature of the building is partially underground room,which is accessible from the street and house influencesexpression. The geometry of the facade towards the entrance tothe room dramatically, thereby breaking down the funnel at eachdirection of the Mendel Square (also from Cross Street) naturallyattracts attention. Above the building of the hall are designedstudios Sentencing Vierendeelovou subtle design. RESIDENTIAL COMPLEX ON THE STREET PASTVINY IN BRNO - KOMÍN URBAN DESIGN The studied area is located at the intersection of the original, traditionaly built-up structures, in the form of a compact village green and new footprints in the land register. There come across modern blocks with many stories, traditional village biuld-up, uniform business baroque row houses and neglected cabins of gardeners. ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN In examining the character of our villages and small cities we find a quality environment in human scale, pleasant to live. This is achieved through a sensitive approach to the landscape. Understanding the nature and specifics of the place allows reacting to these qualities and even from obvious negatives do benefits. Regularities valid in settlements of rural character may be abstracted and successfully applied in the contemporary design and construction of residential complex. This is particulary the relationship of the building to the street, neighboring houses, compass and terrain, landscape. The important role have spaces between buildings and their hierarchy, gradation from front yards, through the gardens to the atrium. STRUCTURAL DESIGN Each house, which will be located in an area defined by the rules of proven principles and archetypes of villages and small towns. Their ground plan footprint is a square, the third dimension is limited together with those rules. Individual solutions within the squares are unique, responding to a specific location, slope, sun exposure by selecting the appropriate disposition and the structural system, with priority given to traditional natural building materials. The advantage is the possibility of insolation of living rooms via a private atrium.
