Improvement Proposal for Maintenance of Tangible Fixed Assets in Mechanical Engineering

This master thesis focuses on the issue of tangible fixed assets management in the company HP spol. s r.o. which manufactures plastic bags and various technical parts. This thesis is based on the current state of the company and with attention to key areas such as care of the tangible fixed assets, organization and operation maintenance. The aim of the company analysis is to identify weaknesses and their resulting opportunities. In the next section are presented solutions to problems which were identified by analysis. Economic evaluation of the proposals with their benefits and timetable is carried out in conclusion of the thesis.

Gothic and Realistic Features in the Works of Flannery O´Connor and Carson McCullers

The diploma thesis focuses on a comparative analysis of Flannery O'Connor's and Carson McCullers' Southern Gothic literary works. Special emphasis is put on the relationship between the gothic and realistic features. The comparative analysis is based on the characterisation of Southern Gothic literature (the landscape and environment as the main focus), which leads to the specification of its main features. Individual chapters contain O'Connor's and McCullers' biographies. The comparative analysis itself concentrates on the description of the heroes and their relationships, the function of landscape, the meaning of grotesque motifs, the connection of traditional and comical features, the influence of past, the role of religion and the issue of good and evil.

Eduard Rohan e-mail vedoucího: rohan@kme.zcu.cz Abstrakt: V předložené práci studujeme problém tvarové optimalizace pro úlohy vnitřního proudění ve 3D. Uvažováno je laminární, nestlačitelné, stacionární proudění popsané Navier- Stokesovými rovnicemi. Jsou popsány stabilizace Navier-Stokesových rovnic potřebné pro řešení úloh s nízkou viskozitou. Předloženy jsou teoretické poznatky týkající se problému tvarové optimalizace včetně důkazu existence řešení. Je popsána adjungovaná metoda pro řešení optimalizační úlohy. Odvozena je analytická analýza citlivosti. Představujeme postupy využité při výpočtech a numerický software pro řešení optimalizačních úloh. Jsou prezentovány výsledky pro stabilizované i nestabilizované řešení Navier-Stokesových rovnic. Představíme výsledky zahrnující lineární omezení geometrie oblasti. Sherlock Holmes and Father Brown: Two Heroes and Two Ways of the Detective Novel

The bachelor thesis focuses on a comparative analysis of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's and Gilbert Keith Chesterton's detective stories. Above all it concentrates on the overall characteristics of two main detective heroes Sherlock Holmes and father Brown. Separate chapters contain a short biography of both Doyle and Chesterton. The origin and the development of the detective genre is also a part of the thesis, as well as the founders and the main protagonists of the genre.
