Substrate integrated waveguide filter
Vyskočil, Jiří ; Tkadlec, Roman (referee) ; Láčík, Jaroslav (advisor)
In this thesis is discussed a filter design of a band-pass substrate integrated waveguide filter on the frequency of 5 GHz. It also includes design theory, filter synthesis, filter analysis in the program CST Microwave Studio® and the results of measurement on a vector network analyzer. The analysis results are compared with the measured results. Good agreement between simulated and measured results is observed.
Direct realization of the transfer function using modern fuctional blocks
Vyskočil, Jiří ; Petržela, Jiří (referee) ; Dostál, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor’s thesis is a direct realization of the transfer function using modern functional blocks. It is a circuit design of multifunction frequency-selection filters. A merit of the direct realization of the transfer function is for example an easy modification of the circuit design using the signal flow graph. These circuit designs can work in current and voltage modes. My task is to design a few such designs using modern function blocks. Then I verify their function and basic characteristics, I make tolerance and sensitivity analyses and lastly I scrutinize effects of parasitic phenomena and real building components.
System for Administration of Tests
Karlík, Ľubomír ; Vyskočil, Jiří (advisor) ; Surynek, Pavel (referee)
The task of the work is the implementation of aplication for tests administration. The aplication provides creating templates with questions for tests generation and provides set of tests administration. The system enables to print tests on papier and is able to evaluate tests automatically from scanned images. The programme supports internet tests generation and administration.
System for Distributed Computing
Novák, Jiří ; Vyskočil, Jiří (advisor) ; Zavoral, Filip (referee)
This thesis is about solving problems using systems for distributed computing. In the beginning, it provides the reader brief introduction to the area of systems for distributed computing and introduces some of the existing systems. Further there is a proposal of a new distributed computing system. Design of this system is described thoroughly including the processes, network connections and messages which are used for communication between the processes. The system is then compared to existing implementations. Advantages and disadvantages are discussed. At the end there are some ideas how the system can be improved in the future.
Transformation of Logic Programs
Vyskočil, Jiří ; Štěpánek, Petr (advisor) ; Vomlelová, Marta (referee) ; Mařík, Radek (referee)
This paper is a contribution to improving computational e fficiency of de nite Prolog programs using Unfold/Fold (U/F) strategy with homeomorphic embedding as a control heuristic. Unfold/Fold strategy is an alternative to so called conjunctive partial deduction (CPD). The ECCE system is one of the best system for program transformations based on CPD. In this thesis is presented a new fully automated system of program transformations based on U/F strategy. The experimental results, namely CPU times, the number of inferences, and the size of the transformed programs are included. These results are compared to the ECCE system and indicate that in many cases both systems have produced programs with similar or complementary e fficiency. Moreover, a new method based on a simple combination of both systems is presented. This combination represents, to our best knowledge, the most effective transformation program for normal logic programs. In most cases, the combination signi cantly exceeds both the Unfold/Fold algorithm presented here and the results of the ECCE system. The experimental results with a complete comparison among these algorithms are included.
Plasma polymers in the nanostructured and nanocomposite coatings
Shelemin, Artem ; Biederman, Hynek (advisor) ; Čech, Vladimír (referee) ; Vyskočil, Jiří (referee)
Title: Plasma polymers in the nanostructured and nanocomposite coatings Author: Artem Shelemin Department / Institute: Department of the Macromolecular Physics Supervisor of the doctoral thesis: Prof. RNDr. Hynek Biederman, DrSc. Abstract: The thesis represents the main results of my research work aimed to study nanostructured and nanocomposite films of plasma polymer. A few alternative experimental approaches were developed and investigated which ranged from low pressure (gas aggregation cluster sources and glancing angle deposition) to atmospheric pressure (dielectric barrier discharge and plasma jet) plasma processing. The metal/metal oxide Ti/TiOx, AlOx and plasma polymer SiOx(CH), Nylon 6,6 nanoparticles were prepared. The analysis of morphology of deposited plasma polymer coatings was performed by AFM and SEM. The chemical composition of films was studied by XPS and FTIR. Keywords: plasma polymer, nanoparticle, thin film, nanostructures
Optimization of Connections on a Simulation of Public Transport System
Ladecký, Martin ; Vyskočil, Jiří (advisor) ; Šišma, Vladimír (referee)
The present work describes a design and an implementation of Public Transport simulation including implementation of algorithms for good flexibility. Additionally, the work describes the design of optimization and its implementation. Results based on it are collected. They are later interpreted and evaluated.
Nanostructured films based on plasma polymers
Solař, Pavel ; Shukurov, Andrey (advisor) ; Vyskočil, Jiří (referee)
In this thesis we have studied growth and properties of thin films prepared by tilted deposition using sputtering. The construction of low pressure magnetron is presented. The influence of deposition conditions on formation of columnar structure using scanning electron microscope was studied. Formation of columnar structures of metals, composites metal-plasma polymer and plasma polymer is described. The influence of deposition conditions on surface roughness obtained by AFM is discussed. Chemical structure of composite and plasma polymer films has been determined using XPS and infrared spectroscopy.
Ticket Reservation System
Šenkeřík, David ; Zlomek, Josef (advisor) ; Vyskočil, Jiří (referee)
The aim of the bachelor thesis was to design and implement a Ticket Reservation System. The reservation system is primarily focused on ticket distribution for occasional culture events. During reservation and selling of tickets it is necessary to work with centralized shared data from many selling places. The customers may book the tickets via the web interface before they buy the tickets from the distributor. A user-friendly interface for designing the room models (including chairs, tables, rows, walls, etc.) is available for the system administrator. The tickets to book or sell can be chosen using the model of the room.
