Jednotný vnitřní trh, který se začátkem 90. let vydal cestou Maastrichtské smlouvy vystřídal režim společného trhu, představuje čtyři základní svobody, kterými jsou volný pohyb zboží, osob, služeb a kapitálu. Zahrnuje území celé Evropské unie, v které se neuplatňují hranice mezi jednotlivými členskými státy. Nařízení 44/2001 "Brusel I" zabezpečuje jednotný přístup k soudům členských států bez ohledu na státní příslušnost osob.
Selected questions of the European civil procedural law

RESUMÉ The topic of this work is "Selected questions of the European civil procedural law." The European judicial area is regarded as the most progressive area of private law in the European Union. Since the entry into force of the Treaty of Amsterdam unification of regulation in this area has undergone remarkable development. The Council Regulation (EC) No. 44/2001 on jurisdiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgements in civil and commercial matters (regulation Brussels I) is the center of this work. The regulation Brussels I is the successor of the Convention on jurisdiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgements in civil and commercial matters (Brussels Convention). Brussels Convention was the first general multilateral instrument on the recognition of judgements which directly regulated the jurisdiction of the Contracting states. The first part of this work concerns the object of the european civil procedural law, the origin of the Brussels Convention and the role of the Court of Justice of the European Communities. In the whole work is emphasis the importance of relevant decisions of the Court of Justice of the European Communities, particularly in the part about juridiction. The transportation of products of company Hesta spol. s r.o.

This Master's thesis deals with analysis of transportation in the company Hesta spol. s r.o. with headquarters in the town Prešov. The thesis is consisting of three parts, theoreticly-methodological, analytical and proposal. The theoretical part comprises primer ABC's to the problematics of transportation and logistics, relevance of transportation within needs satisfaction and methodology of expenses calculation in road freight. The analytical part of the thesis deals with following analysis: analysis of the company Hesta spol. s r.o., its car pool and the processing of placed orders, toll analysis, analysis of transportation costs and analysis of applicable distrubutional routes. Closing proposal part arising from the results of previous parts of the thesis brings possible suggestions in optimization and increasing efficiency of company's transportation.
Campaign against occurrence of blood diamonds

The goal of this master thesis is a complex description of blood diamonds issues and assessment of existing efforts, specific steps and presented ideas, conceptions and strategies on the ground of Kimberley Process, as well as suggestions of possible solutions and future steps of organizations like Global Witness, Partnership Africa Canada, Human Rights Watch and other interested groups fighting against occurence of illicit diamonds. The thesis is divided into 4 chapters. The first chapter describes characteristics and significance of diamonds. The second chapter focuses on organizations agitating against blood diamonds in the world. The third chapter is subsequently designated for definition and features of the term of failed state, which is often highly connected with the blood diamonds issue. The fourth chapter analyses concrete conflicts or illegal activities in Angola, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Republic of Congo and Zimbabwe.
