Odehnal, Jakub ; Vopařil, Jan (referee) ; Kučera, Pavel (advisor)
This Bachelor’s thesis describes basic stabilizing systems of passenger cars. These systems are correcting driving the cars and improve safety of the traffic. The main systems described in this thesis are ABS, ASR and ESP. There are also summarized some other assistant systems. In the end there is also view of various individual car companies and their theories of stabilizing of cars.
UTILIZATION OF BIOGAS IN TRANSPORT
Štylárek, Milan ; Zháňal, Lubor (referee) ; Vopařil, Jan (advisor)
Objective of this bachelor thesis is evaluating the possibility of utilization of biogas as an alternative fuel for combustion engines in traffic. Production and distribution of upgraded biogas is described as well as situation of its utilization in the world. This is followed by a comparison of situation in biomethan utilization in Czech republic and Sweden. There are explained barriers to commercial placing and its possible eliminating. In the end the model study of replacement of farm vehicle fleet for CNG vehicles is described.
Overcharging of combustion engines

Bachelor thesis analysis the influences on overall efficiency of internal combustion engine, outlines the limits of its increasing and offers an overview of selected technologies of current research, that have a potential to decrease fuel consumption or production of harmful emissions in the future.
Sensors signal processing methods of the autonomous vehicle
Kostiha, Petr ; Vopařil, Jan (referee) ; Kučera, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with autonomous vehicles and ways of perception their surrounding environment. The thesis contains description of the sensors, which autonomous car uses to draw the surroundings. Furthermore, the thesis is focused on working of the sensors and primarily on signal processing methods which sensors generates.
Shape Optimalisation of Aircraft Engine Crankshaft
Vopařil, Jan ; Drápal, Lubomír (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis describes the variety and the width of issues connected with crankshafts of combustion engines. It distinguishes different factors, which influence the shape and size of these crankshafts and the selected findings are then transferred into the design of crankshaft for the particular engine. The thesis also presents coherent description of application of topology optimization to the particular crankshaft and also different, more complex design procedures leading to the optimal shape of crankshaft are afterwards suggested. Quality of such a design is then verified by comparative analysis of fatigue of the crankshaft.
INSTALLATION REGENERATIVE EQUIPMENT INTO A VEHICLE
Svršek, Michal ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Vopařil, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to prepare an overview of current knowledge and trends in energy recovery system of motor vehicles. The content is primarily a function of basic system, components and recovery of kinetic and thermal energy. The next section deals with the built-in specific device in a vehicle with an evaluation in terms of economic and environmental returns.
Influence of surface modifications on fatigue life
Gerec, Matúš ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Vopařil, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis presents the description of surface treatment technologies used on dynamically loaded mechanical parts. It explains the influence of each surface treatment on high–cycle fatigue life. Then the thesis describes the analytical calculation of fatigue limit of real part and approach to design of mechanical part on infinite life.
