Hooligan as an object of film analysis
Volek, Jiří ; BLAŽEVIČ, Jasmina (advisor) ; Bojar, Tomáš (referee)
Final thesis reflects the preproduction and production of thesis film with the topic of radical football fans. Work defines the theme of violence in the world of rowdies and film work with them. Further analyzes not only the history of football fans, but their categorization in terms of sociology and their impact on contemporary society. Work is devoted to the history of Czech cinema, working with the motif of the football world. The reasoning at the conclusion of the thesis reflects the impact of the films on this topic at the general audience and selected subculture.
ANALYSIS OF CONTEMPORARY LIFE-STYLE ACCORDING TO GILLES LIPOVETSKY AND MICHEL MAFFESOLI: COMPARISON AND CONFRONTATION OF SELECTED THEMES, PROBLEMS AND CONTROVERSIES
VOLEK, Jan
The thesis analyzes and compares the approaches of two authors dealing with phenomena in contemporary society. It focuses mainly on issues of lifestyle and values. The thesis asks questions related to socialization and individualization of society. The thesis is divided into four parts. The first part is about definition of the basic terms (postmodernism, lifestyle, values). The second part is devoted to the concept of Gilles Lipovetsky. The third part focuses on the concept of Michel Maffesoli. In the fourth section, there is a comparison of these two concepts, where we are primarily focused on tracing argumentation clashes and controversies. In the final part, there is the presentation of the main questions and ideas, that come out on the basis of this comparison.
Terrence Malick's Days of Heaven
Volek, Jiří ; VALAK, Radim (advisor) ; BOUDA, Marek (referee)
Thesis on Terrence Malick's Days of Heaven. Analysis of basic dramaturgical structures that link the film to the biblical stories of Ruth, Abram and Israel's Exodus from Egypt.
Transient Vibration of Thin Rectangular Elastic and Viscoelastic Isotropic and Orthotropic Plate
Soukup, J. ; Trnka, Jan ; Valeš, František ; Volek, J.
The article is a part of the systematic analisys of assumption effects on the transient vibration of isotropic or orhotropic elastic and viscoelastic thin 2D plate. Several deformation models - according to Kirchhoff, Rayleigh, Flügge, Mindlin - were applied. The linear models of material rheologic properties were applied according to Hook, Voigt-Kelvin, Maxwell, Zener models. The results obtained by FEM methods and experiments are mutually compared.
Nestacionární pohyb tenké ortotropní desky zatížené impulsní silou
Valeš, František ; Červ, Jan ; Volek, J.
Analytical solutions based on Flügge and Mindlin approximations of a thin elastic orthotropic plate under transverse impulse loading are discussed in the paper. The results in the form of displacements and velocities are compared with those obtained by 3D finite element solutions. Dispersion behaviour of the Mindlin approximation is studied as well. It was found out that there are always three different dispersion curves for any arbitrary direction of propagation.
Waves in thin orthotropic elastic plate
Volek, J. ; Červ, Jan ; Valeš, F.
The analytical solutions based on Kirchhoff and Rayleigh approximations of a thin elastic orthotropic plate under transverze load are discussed in the paper. The results are compared with those obtained by means of FEM.
Non-stationary stress state of transversally loaded thin and thick plates
Valeš, František ; Pelikán, Vladimír ; Hora, Petr ; Volek, J. ; Červ, Jan
In the paper, the solution of non-stationary stress-state of thick and thin plates transversally loaded on one of their faces is described. The solution of the thick plate is based on equations of motion of 3D continuum. The results of analytical, numrical FEM and experimetal analysis are presented.
Non-stationary stress state of transversally loaded thin and thick plates
Valeš, František ; Pelikán, Vladimír ; Volek, J. ; Červ, Jan
The solutions of non-stacionary stress state of thick and thin plates transversally loaded on one of their faces are described. By results comparison, the validity limits of thin plate approach can be found. The solution of the thick plate is based of quations of motion of 3D continuum; using basic models from the Kirchhoff to Timoschenko-Mindlin ones the thin plate solutions are obtained.
