Control of Pixel Front Lighting
Kostelník, Pavel ; Vochyán, Josef (referee) ; Dřínovský, Jiří (advisor)
This master’s thesis presents new tendency in automotive lighting – matrix LED headlamp. This thesis consists of description of matrix headlamp construction, main functions of matrix headlamp and controlling by using new integrated circuit, developed by ON Semiconductor Company. The aim of this project is concept of algorithm, which provides correct function of integrated circuit. A part of this thesis is to develop and assembly evaluation kit with this integrated circuit, which will be use to present integrated circuit for customers.
Light Effects by LED RGB Driver
Vríčan, Peter ; Vochyán, Josef (referee) ; Dřínovský, Jiří (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is implementation of RGB LED driver using circuit ON Semiconductor NCV7430. The main objective was to design a circuit solution for temperature compensation of the driver. The thesis aims to describe the driver and its functions and to eliminate thermal effects caused by heating the circuit by surroundings. It discusses the circuit thermal stabilization in the temperature range of -40 to 80 °C to the RGB diode lights to a constant color. The thesis presents various possibilities of the stabilization and method of evaluating the obtained parameters of applications. Next, the thesis solves the design of equipment for implementation of light effects. The equipment presents options and features of the RGB driver.
High efficiency laboratory power supply
Tejmlová, Lenka ; Vochyán, Josef (referee) ; Petržela, Jiří (advisor)
The project shows the problems of power supply in electrical engineering. It describes the general parameters of these types of supplies and presents their characteristics. Based on these findings, it is also focused on the selection of specific elements of the laboratory supply, to reach the given parameters. It contains the recalculations of the parameters of other additional components. The overall scheme of the supply is divided into several blocks, thematically corresponded to subchapters. According to the accomplished concept the laboratory supply is realized and its parameters had been tested. Projects results are assessed at the end.
Control of Stepper Motors in Closed Loop System
Hořák, Jan ; Vochyán, Josef (referee) ; Dřínovský, Jiří (advisor)
The theme of this thesis is the design and optimization of algorithms for controlling stepper motors with feedback by measuring the BEMF. The emphasis was on self-management stepper motor current depending on the load. To verify the algorithm was designed and built sample devices with integrated circuit NCV70514 from ON Semiconductor. The result is a sample device, the control program and algorithm to control a stepper motor.
Practical implementation of symmetrical regulated supply
Pekarovič, Ján ; Vochyán, Josef (referee) ; Petržela, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with a stabilized power supply capable of maintaining the output voltage from 0 V to 30 V. It is suggested as two independent adjustable power supply that can interlock to create a symmetric stabilized source. The described source is provided with electronic fuse to protect the connected device and the source itself from destruction. Part of this work is the simulation suggested time diagram for theoretical verification of functionality, design of circuit boards, cooling and case and basic measurement results on the realized power supply.
Digitally controlled electronic load
Bordovský, Tomáš ; Vochyán, Josef (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with analysis and exploration of design options, how to design and produce an electronic load. The paper discussed the possibilities of digital control. It also describes the principles of structural components and there was chosen one type variant which is designed to circuits and printed circuit boards. Moreover, the thesis also include technical drawings of mechanical parts. At the end of this paper, final soulution with measurements and parameters are presented.
Design of the high frequency tunable oscillators
Malec, Tomáš ; Vochyán, Josef (referee) ; Petržela, Jiří (advisor)
This paper deals with the simplest structure capable of generate harmonic signals of high frequency and stable amplitude. As essential elements of these oscillators have been used active blocks known as diamond transistors. The proposal was given to minimize the number of components and smooth electronic retuning. These proposed districts have been theoretically analyzed by the program PSpice and practically verified. The document contains the results of these reviews and readings focusing on the total harmonic distortion, frequency agility and range of phase noise.
Driver for LED automotive lights
Christen, Jiří ; Vochyán, Josef (referee) ; Dřínovský, Jiří (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with a design and realization of a LED driver that is based on integrated circuits NCV78703 and NCV78723 from ON Semiconductor. The aim of the project is to create a demonstration application with these integrated circuits for the use of company. The circuits can be especially used for driving LED automotive lights. The driver is controlled with a microcontroller also providing a communication with a software running on a PC via USB interface. This software enables to simply modify parameters of the driver in order to adjust an intensity of LEDs.
Audio signal transfer using wireless technologies
Gasnárek, Jiří ; Vochyán, Josef (referee) ; Petržela, Jiří (advisor)
Description of construction of analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog convertors for audio signal and distribution via wireless channel, are the objectives of my master's thesis. There are descriptions of DPS construction, design of panels and measurement of system parameters in the project, above all sampling and reconstruction of audio signal, power consumption and signal range of wireless modules. At the end is discussed real usage and suggestions for further developement.
Small programmable bench power supply
Čech, Jonáš ; Vochyán, Josef (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis deals with design and construction of compact low power switching power supply, which is powered from USB. It provides adjustable output voltage in range from 0 V to 16 V and adjustable current limit. The design is made with respect to galvanic insulation between device and PC. The control of device is done by basic user interface and software, which provide monitoring of output voltage, current and output power. The simulation and measurement results are included.
