The imposition of penalties on the recidivism

This diploma thesis is focused to issue of imposition of penalties on crimes with sign of recidivism. This problematic is actual, important, and especially wide topic, that relates to sections from international law documents, through principals of constitution law and criminal legal regulation to sources of law that operate the legal presumptions. At the same time recidivism and following imposition of penalty affected by the passage of time and gradual historical development with social changes, that lead to evolution of application and formation of rules tied to the topic. In the introduction of thesis there are explanations and analysis of basic concepts and situations, which are related to pluralistic criminal activity. This is completed by illustrative diagrams and concrete examples for making better idea about differences between types of pluralistic criminal activity and similar cases. Thereafter the content of thesis is heading to main pillars, which connect recidivism and imposition of penalties as general aggravating circumstances, special aggravating circumstances, extraordinary increase of penalty of imprisonment or influence of recidivism to offender's classification to type of jail. Legal protection of databases in the Czech Republic and in the United States

1 Abstract and keywords Legal protection of databases in the Czech Republic and in the United States This rigorous work analyses the legal protection of databases in the Czech Republic, as well as in the European Union and the United States. It comprehensively summarizes the regulation of database protection in these legal environments. The first part is devoted to the explanation of the concept of database and the possible division of databases to ensure a comprehensive understanding of database issues. The next part deals with international regulations and its development. The most important legislation in the database law in the Czech Republic is the one from the European Union level, which has unified the central copyright protection of databases. The work therefore discusses in detail the circumstances of the adoption of this legislation, its transposition into the national regulations of the Member States, the legislation itself and its individual instruments. This part addresses the use of the case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union and the courts of the Member States. This section offers overview of the evaluation of this legislation by the European Commission. Legal aspects of fire protection units in integrated rescue system

in English This diploma thesis analyzes the legislation focused on the internal security of the state, especially it is focused on fire protection units and integrated rescue system. The aim of the diploma thesis was to open the problematic issues of the relevant legislation. The first part deals with the theoretical analysis of the relevant legislation and the second part contains research that is aimed at verifying the application of this legislation in practice. The first chapter deals with the factual definition of the components of the integrated rescue system, both the basic components and other components. It also discusses the basic coordination of the components of the integrated rescue system. The second chapter describes the factual definition of fire protection units in relation to other components of the integrated rescue system and then presents the various types of fire protection units. Individual types of fire protection units are defined in terms of their division, material definition, establishment, organizational structure and personnel substrate. The third chapter already deals with some narrowly defined aspects.
