Search of the Bacterial Genome Descriptor

This bachelor thesis deals with the investigation of DNA sequences of bacterial genomes. The aim is to find out whether it is possible to determine on the basis of the nucleotide tuple frequencies from which bacteria specie the examined sequence originates. The investigation results were obtained by a tool whose implementation is also a part of the work. The output of this thesis are the experiments with nucleotide tuple frequencies based on statistical calculations and decision whether this approach is beneficial or not.

Design of Assistant Brake for Mechanical Wheelchair

The goal of this diploma thesis was the design of an assistance brake for a mechanical invalid wheelchair. The theoretical part includes the sorting of wheelchairs and available technology of braking systems. In the practical part, there was prepared the design and testing of the assistance brake. In the final chapter, the technical-economic evaluation of the designed solution was discussed and compared with the existing technologies.

This bachelor work presents basic information about robots, their types and uses in engineering company, basic description and development of this booming industry. The first chapter introduces the basic sorting and distribution of industrial robots and manipulators (PRAM). The following chapters are devoted to the basic division PRaM according to its properties and subsequent use. Below are a few examples of the use of these machines in industrial production. The work highlights the advantages of integrating these devices into automation machinery industry.
