Apartment building, Trnava

The subject of the bachelor's thesis is the design of an apartment building located on the outskirts of the city of Trnava, Slovakia. The building land is situated on the eastern side of the city, where several residential buildings are currently under construction or planned. It is a three-story, partially basement building with a vegetation roof and an entrance facing west. The primary shape is a prism with a indented section containing the staircase, elevator, and providing access to a communal terrace. The basement contains a technical room, laundry room, bicycle garage with a stroller storage area, and storage units. The building comprises twelve residential units of two categories: 3+kk (nine apartments) and 1+kk (three apartments), with four apartments on each above-ground floor. The apartments on the first floor have private front yards facing east, while all apartments on the second and third floor have suspended balconies. The common areas, starting from the entrance hall, including corridors leading to the individual apartments separated by swinging doors, a staircase space spanning to all floors, and an elevator servicing the ground floor, first floor, second floor, and third floor, without the machine room. The structural system of the building is two-way system, consisting of ceramic bricks in the above-ground floors and fromwork fittings in the basement. The external walls are insulated with an external thermal insulation composite system ETICS. The horizontal structures consist of prestressed ceiling panels SPIROLL. The apartment building is founded on simple concrete strip foundations. The majority of the building is covered with a flat vegetation roof that can be accessed, while the area above the staircase features an inaccessible flat roof with rounded gravel ballast.

This thesis consists of a comprehensive elaborate project of implementation including the time schedule, financial plans, technology procedure for structural systém. Deals with design of main mechanisms, concept of building site and procedures needed for realization, quality control and test plan, risks of realization and resources.

The theme of bachelor´s work is a family house for a family of four in Jablůnka. The building is designed as a one-floor, without basement, with the garage for two cars. Structural system is a lightweight wooden frame with contact insulation systém. There is a shed roof on the house.
Apartment building, Opava

The subject of the bachelor´s thesis is the design of a new three-story apartment building with partial basement and prepare project documentation for the construction phase. The construction is located in the city of Opava and is set i terrain with a minimal slope. The proposal respects the surroundinf development and all bundung documents of the city, especially the zoning plan and zoning study. A total of 8 housing units were designed. The underground floor will serve as a space for cellar cubicles and utility room. There are two apartments on the ground floor, one of which is accessible for the disabled. Acces to the aparments on the higher floors is designed through a pre-projected steel porch. The apartments od the ground floor have a private garden and the apartmens on the higher floors have a balcony. The building is set on plain concrete foundations strips, lined with breeze blocks, isolated by systém with certification ETICS. Fasade polystyrene will be used as a thermal unsultor. Roofing is solved using a vegetated flat roof.

The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the development of a project for the construction of an apartment building in Příbor. It is a balcony access apartment building with a fragmented floor plan. Part of the 3rd floor is stepped back in two corners and replaced by terraces. The apartment building has three above-ground and one underground floors. The basement is partially cellared, there is a utility room, cellar bunks, a bicycle and a carriage room. There are a total of 10 residential units in the building. There are 4 residential units on the 1st and 2nd floors and two apartments are designed on the 3rd floor. Apartments on the 1st floor have direct access to the terrace with a private front garden. The apartments on the 2nd and 3rd floors have balconies, which are located on the south facade of the building. The structural system of the building is transverse, it consists of vertical structures made of clay block walling system and fittings of lost formwork in the underground floor. The horizontal supporting structures are from reinforced concrete. The entire building is based on plain concrete foundations. The roof is designed as a single-layer flat roof. The building is insulated with the ETICS contact insulation system using facade polystyrene.
