Uher, Ondřej ; Zuth, Daniel (referee) ; Marada, Tomáš (advisor)
Aim those bachelor thesis be formed locating mechanism for two-dimensionally laser range finder SICK LMS-291. Mechanism has ensured upright movement rangefinder.
Servomechanical movement control of photovoltaic panel
Uher, Ondřej ; Voldán, Jiří (referee) ; Němec, Zdeněk (advisor)
Thesis deals with the introduction to the production of electricity using photovoltaic panels and the relative position between panels and the Sun. The project aim was to design equipment to ensure the vertical position of the solar panels towards the Sun during the day so as to achieve maximum energy gain from sunlight. Pointing mechanism will be governed by the date and time.
Study of Cancer Immunotherapy Mechanisms in Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma and Pheochromocytoma Murine Models
UHER, Ondřej
This dissertation examines the study of intratumoral cancer immunotherapy using a combination of phagocytosis-stimulating ligands and Toll-like receptor ligands (TLR) in murine pancreatic adenocarcinoma and pheochromocytoma murine models. In this study, we show that intratumoral application of the phagocytosis-stimulating ligand Mannan-BAM and three TLR ligands, referred to as MBT therapy, efficiently suppresses tumor growth in more than 83% of mice bearing murine melanoma. However, in aggressive pancreatic adenocarcinoma and pheochromocytoma murine models, such a combination is inefficient and must be combined with an agonistic anti-CD40 antibody, referred to as MBTA therapy, to achieve complete eradication of the tumor. We show that complex intratumoral MBTA therapy can systemically increase the recruitment of innate immune cells followed by activation of adaptive immune cells not only in treated tumors but also in distal non-treated lesions, resulting in the reduction of tumor growth and prolonged survival of treated mice. Taken together, these findings highlight the effect of MBTA therapy and the potential to optimize this therapeutic approach for future use in clinical trials as a treatment for metastatic cancers.
Analýza imunitních procesů při nádorové imunoterapii založené na synergii agonistů TLR a ligandů stimulujících fagocytózu
UHER, Ondřej
This thesis is focused on analysis of immune processes during cancer immunotherapy which is based on synergistic combination of TLR agonists and phagocytosis stimulating ligands anchored into the tumour cell membrane. This immunotherapy was tested in murine melanoma B16-F10 and murine pancreatic adenocarcinoma Panc02 models. The aims of this thesis were to analyse the tumor infiltration, elucidate the role of innate immunity in this immunotherapy, and study the possibility of strengthening immunotherapeutic effect using anti-CD40 and anti-CTLA-4.
Cancer immunotherapy based on the combination of TLR ligands and ligands of phagocytic receptors
UHER, Ondřej
The main goal of this thesis was to study cancer immunotherapy based on combination of TLR ligands and ligands of phagocytic receptors. We studied replacement of LPS by bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi or Resiquimod in cancer immunotherapy. We also tried to block CD47 in cancer immunotherapy. The last aim of this thesis was phosphatidylserine expression on melanoma cells B16-F10.

Socially responsible marketing as a new trend in marketing communications
Uher, Ondřej ; Pešek, Ondřej (advisor) ; Procházková, Markéta (referee)
Bachelor thesis deals with a new trend in marketing communications of companies, which is a socially responsible marketing. Besides a presentment of this marketing tool, main aims of this work are also a comparison of previous progress with current state and especially more detailed analysis of actual situation in this sphere. Therefore, there are firstly mentioned chosen historically the most successful campaigns, but then the main attention is paid to the recent world development. That is characterized mainly by contemporary dominant trends in socially responsible marketing and every trend is substantiated by several typical examples of realized projects. In conclusion, there is of course also provided an insight into the situation on Czech market and after the historical overview, there are presented the most successful campaigns of socially responsible marketing in CR.
