ECOLOGICAL ARCHITECTURE AND HOUSING This thesis deals with ecological architecture and housing. Work aims to clarify the principles and ecological construction. There is Indicated, Chat must respected, so that people can talk about ecological building. Furthermore, there is a development of ecological building, which illuminates the world situation and particular attention to the Czech environment. The historical part covers the period from the late 19th century to the prezent. In fact, since the late 19th century in the field of architecture emerging environmental trends unconsciously. Labour also stresses the first conscious ecological approaches in architecture, such as approaches for Buckminster Fuller and Paolo Soleri. And there is also highlighted as a conscious organic architecture as a response to energy crisis. The subchapters devoted to the Czech environment presents certain aspects of personality manifested as environmental performance itself Dušan Samo Jurkovič and great leader sof green-oriented theorical work, such as Karel Honzík, Ladislav Žák and Emanuel Hruška. Further emphasize the situation after the energy crisis, where these trends occur sporadically in some realization SIAL and separate as individuals, such as Bohumil Lhota and Stanislav Hrazdíra.
