Apartment resort Velké Karlovice

The subject of the bachelor thesis is the construction of an apartment resort in Velké Karlovice. There are two existing buildings on the plot, which will be reconstructed and changed to apartment houses. In the southern part of the plot one new building will be built, which will also be used as an apartment house. The complex is located in the village of Velké Karlovice, in Zlín region, more specifically in the part of the village called Leskové. The whole village falls under the Beskydy Protected Landscape Area. The apartment resort will be used mainly for short-term rental of individual apartments. Due to the mountainous area, winter use for skiers and summer use for cyclists and hiking is expected. The reconstructed building will be four-storey with a gable roof. On the first floor there will be garages and cellars, for example for storing skis or bicycles. The other floors will then be used for apartments with two or three living rooms and a kitchenette. In the new building, each apartment will be two-storeyed, with a cellar, bathroom with toilet and living room with kitchenette on the first floor and two living rooms on the second floor. In total, there will be 18 apartments in the renovated buildings and 12 apartment units in the new building.
Low-rise apartments in Řečkovicích

Bachelor thesis „low-rise apartment buildings in Řečkovice“ handle a new construction of apartment building in Brno, district Řečkovice. The plot is currently unused. In its lower part close to the street Terezy Novákové are designed two new apartment buildings, that will comply with the street line. The second part of the plot is the solved territory. The project is based on an architecture study, which was made as a part of the subject AG032 – Atelier architektonické tvorby II. The designed apartment building has four floors with apartments from one to three rooms. It has 12 apartments overall, a rentable place on the first floor, cellars and bicycle room. The rentable place has separate entrance. Outdoor parking spaces are designed as part of the building. The plot is slightly sloped, and the building corresponds with that. The mass of the building is moved to compensate the slope, and to make residential terraces, that are made of green roof and supplemented with high attic with greens. The new construction is made of Ytong bricks insulated with mineral wool. The foundation of the house is made up of footing and piles because of low bearing capacity of the soil.
Motel for truckers in India

The assignment of the bachelor's thesis is the design of a motel building for truckers in India. The work is based on the architectural study of the subject BGA026 and the structural study of the subject AG036 Complex project. The theme is based on the assignment of the international architectural competition from 2022 called On the way. The proposed area is located in the city of Kannadi, in the state of Kerala, in close proximity to the highway - Highway 544. These are 3 unused parcels. The goal of the assignment is to create a short-term accommodation facility, a pleasant environment and a place to rest for truck drivers after a long and tiring journey. It should provide space for sleeping and possibly eating. The main entrance to the area is located from the south from the driveway. The proposed building has 2 above-ground floors and an adjacent parking lot for cars, larger and smaller trucks. The building is specific for its floor plan shape, inscribed with a circle in a square. The social space with a view of the atrium with greenery, which is a typical element in Indian architecture, should make the guests' stay more pleasant. The exterior of the building is enlivened by an offset colored fiberglass facade, which is the object of an architectural detail. The color of the facade corresponds to the traditions of the locality.
Recreation centre Milevsko

The aim of this diploma thesis is the design of the recreation centre in Milevsko. The thesis includes the architectural and structural design. A building has two floors. On the first floor there is a restaurant with a kitchen and a dining room. Two utility rooms, sanitary facilities, storages, and an office. On the second floor there is a club, rooms with facilities and a terrace. There are also 7 rooms for accommodation with en-suite bathrooms on this floor. The walls are made of ceramic blocks, the floor structure is made of reinforced cast-in-place concrete. The building envelope is insulated with the ETICS. The roof consists of an extensive green roof and concrete paving on the terrace. The thesis includes the designs of ventilation, heating, cooling, rainwater management, artificial lighting, and photovoltaic power plants for the building. In the last part of the diploma project the best combination of choosen parameters of a building will be find out by an analisation of a case study. A combinations of construction compositions and heat sources for heating distribution of the building have great importance in a certificate of energy performance of the building. By analysation of these parameters there will be an evaluation of their impacton the on the primary energy from non-renewable sources in the PENB certificate.
Hotel

The aim of this master´s thesis is to elaborate the project documentation of a new hotel for 34 people in Brno. It is a twostory building. The first floor of the building is divided into two functional parts. In one part there is a restaurant and in the other part a reception with a lounge. On the second floor there are hotel rooms. The loadbearing carcass is made of reinforced concrete. The walls are made of gas silicate blocks, the inner walls are made of plasterboard partitions. The roof is flat. There are recreational areas for uests and parking spaces. A technical scheme has been developed for the building, which includes heating, ventilation, cooling and energy production using solar panels. The subject of the thesis is the facility management of the hotel.
