Case study of physiotherapy treatment of the pacient with the diagnosis of ankylosing spondylitis

Title: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of the pacient with the diagnosis of ankylosing spondylitis. Objectives:The aim of this thesis is closer look at the issue of ankylosing spondylitis. The special part is focused on developing a case report of physical therapy care for the patient with a diagnosis of ankylosing spondylitis Methods: The thesis is devided into two main sections. In the first section there is discussed the issue of the disease with options of care. The second, special, part is dedicated to description of care about specific patient, suffering this disease. The case report is from 4. 1. 2016 to 20. 1. 2016. Results: There was a significant reduction of pain, benefit to patient's condition and restore proper movement stereotypes. Title: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of patient with diagnosis systemic lupus erythematosus Objective: A summary of theoretical background, study of comprehensive rehabilitation methodology, proposal of therapy and evaluation of its effect in a patient with diagnosis systemic lupus erythematosus. Methods: The Review of literature and the case study were made during practice in Institute of Rheumatology in Prague from 5. to 30. 1. 2015. It is devided into two parts. Theoretical part summarizes definition, etiology, epidemiology, diagnostics, clinical manifestation, therapy and use of physiotherapy in diagnosis systemic lupus erythematosus. The case study is presented in the special part. Therapeutical approach was prescribed according to the medical history and physical examination and its effect was assessed using kinesiology analysis at the end of the study. Results: The pain of the patient substantialy decreased, she has no more breathing problems and lying in horizontal position is also no longer a problem, the quality of sleep enhanced, the body posture and balance were positively enfluenced and range of motion and stabilization ability of spine improved. Title of bachelor's thesis: Case of physiotherapy care for patient with rheumatoid arthritis diagnosed Objective: The objective of this thesis is to process theoretical information about rheumatic arthritis and the case study of a patient diagnosed with rheumatic arthritis after resection of the metatarsal heads by Hoffmann on both lower extremities. Method: This bachelor thesis was processed on the basis of my month's practice in the Rheumatology Institute in Prague in the period from January 2 to January 27, 2017, under the supervision of Mgr. Iva Zinková. This thesis has two parts - the general and the special one. The general part is focused on the basic characteristics of the disease, epidemiology, etiology, clinical picture, diagnostics, prognosis and treatment of the rheumatic arthritis. The special part is divided in the anamnesis of the patient, entrance kinesiology analysis, description of individual therapies with their effect, final kinesiology analysis and the conclusion of the whole thesis. Title: The case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient with The osteoarthritis Objective: Summarization of theoretical knowledge concerning the osteoarthritis. Elaboration case of a patient with osteoarthritis and the evaluation of the effect of the therapeutic methods. Methods: The theoretical part is concerning the osteoarthritis, its possible causes, pathogenesis, clinical presentation, diagnosis criteria and possible therapeutic approaches. In the special part of this work is presented to the patient case report, the progress of applied therapies and the final effect of therapy. Title: A case of physiotherapeutic care of a patient with rheumatoid arthritis Objectives: The major aim of this thesis is to highlight the role of a physiotherapist as a part of the interdisciplinary team in the complex treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and to demonstrate the effect of special physiotherapeutical methods in practice. The thesis includes a detailed case report of a patient with rheumatoid arthritis. Methods: This thesis was made within the four weeks of practical training at the Institute of Rheumatology in Prague in the period from 2. 1. 2017 to 27. 1. 2017 under the guidance of Mgr. Iva Zinková. The thesis is divided into two parts: general and special. The general part is focused on processing the issues of the disease rheumatoid arthritis, deals with the characteristics, origin, symptoms, course of disease, diagnosis, examination and treatment. Included in the special part is a case report of physiotherapy care of the patient, including case history, entry kinesiological analysis, target, design and course of treatment, control kinesiology analysis and evaluation of the effect of therapy. The casuistry of physiotherapeutic care for patients with the diagnosis of ankylosing spondylitis

The thesis is split into two parts - the general one and the special one. The general part focuses on the theory of the disease of ankylosing spondylitis and describes its placement in the field of rheumatology, its clinical image and diagnosis, which play an integral part in the treatment. Furthermore, it focuses on the complex treatment of this diagnosis, mainly on kinesitherapy. The general part is based on both Czech and foreign literature, which is listed in the chapter Reference List. The special part describes the casuistry of a patient with the diagnosis of ankylosing spondylitis. This part contains the patients entire case history and an entry kinesiology examination, upon which a short term and a long term physiotherapeutic plan is based. It then presents applied therapies and an evaluation of their effectiveness. I gathered the basis for this thesis during my internship in the Institute of rheumatology in Prague, which took place from the 4th until the 29th of January 2016.

Title: Case of physiotherapy care of patient with diagnosis rheumatoid arthritis Objective: Objective of this thesis is to point out the diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis. It focuses on the etiology, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of the patient. The second part is dedicated to the processing of case histories of patients. The aim was to design an appropriate treatment and assess its results. Method: This bachelor thesis was based on monthly practice in the Institute of Rheumatology in Prague, where I was in the period from 4. 1. 2016 to 29. 1. 2016. The whole practice was carried out under the supervision of Eva Taušová. The thesis is devided into two parts: general and special. The general part is focused on processing issues of rheumatoid arthritis, dealing with its characteristics, origin, classification, pathogenesis, medical examination and treatment. The special part is then processed as a case study of a patient with a diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis. It begins with the patient's history and the entry kinesiological analysis, which is followed by final evaluation. The following is a detailed description of the therapy, which is ended by output kinesiological analysis and re-evaluation of the effect of therapy. Author: Marek Rucki Title: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with polyarthrosis Objective: The objective of the bachelor thesis is to introduce the topic of polyarthrosis as one of many types of osteoarthrosis and elaborate complete case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with polyarthrosis. Methodics of the thesis: The thesis is divided into a general and a special part. The first part is devoted to polyarthrotic disease in general. Characteristics, etiology, clinical picture, examination and possible physiotherapy in the treatment of a patient who is suffering from polyarthritis. The second, special, section is devoted to a case study of a particular patient with this disease. It includes a detailed examination, individual therapeutic units, output examination and evaluation of the effect of the therapy. Result: Case study was elaborated from 5th to 30th January 2015 at the Institute of Rheumatology in Prague. The objectives of the therapy have been met.
