Seniors in the Society and Family

This thesis deals with the status of the elderly in the society and family and with the specific value of seniors for the youngest generation, the generation of grandchildren. The focus of the first part of the thesis lays on the main changes that affect the aging generation and its. These are primarily physical changes, mental changes, changes of needs, and changes in social area. The thesis emphasizes the developmental role of old age that has a decisive influence on quality and satisfaction of life in old age but also on the importance of seniors for their neighborhood. In the main part, the thesis deals with the status of seniors in society, both in terms of media presentation and political scene. It continues with a research on the attitudes of the Czech public towards the importance of seniors in the society and family. The chapter on the life of seniors in family starts with a look at the elderly life within families throughout history. It shows how the roles of individual family members have changed recently, how the cohabitation of generations has changed, and what the pitfalls of contemporary generational communication are. Logotherapy and Existential Analysis in Human Crisis

This bachelory work focuses on a crisis of meaning in a human life in Post-Modern Times. First I present in a short historical excursion the changes the Western society went through Modern and Post- Modern times. I point out its impact on the human condition by using Post-Modern types of Zygmunt Bauman. Further I briefly discuss the existentialism philosophy that influenced logotherapy and existential analysis. I pursue in more detail these theories of psychotherapy that deal with the will to meaning, basic personal motivation of man and other existential issues to showing their benefits in terms overcoming the crisis of meaning Post-Modern age. Further I describe therapeutic intervention according to Elisabeth Lucas and Alfred Langle and also shortly discusse the importance of the relationship between therapist and client. The aim of this paper was to investigate, what are the conditions and possibilities to care for children of parents who are coming back from maternity leave to work at Lovosice county. How there could be accepted the newly introduced model of care for children, called "the children's group" among the local companies and parents. The theoretical part is trying to fulfill the first part of the goal. Firstly it is talking about the factors that influence decisions about the time parents return to work and also the main theoretical concepts that explain this issue (rational choice theory, preference theory, and cultural theory). Furthermore, it had the task of clarifying the concepts of maternity leave and maternity benefit and their anchoring in the Czech legislation. Followed by familiarization with the different types of child care services, including their current functioning at Lovosice county. Bachelor thesis called "Inferiority complex and family" with the subtitle "Inferiority complex and self- acceptance in connection with the acceptance in the family" is written with the intention to explore the importance of acceptance in the family and the importance of the self-acceptance. An important part is the individual's acceptance by God and the family as a part of dealing with feelings of inferiority complex in life. The feelings of inferiority guide us through life and we need to know how to deal with them. Written work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part has its focus on acceptance and self-acceptance, especially in the context of Christian theology and pastoral care. A man is a bio-psycho-social being; in this context we cannot forget these components. A part of this work is also pastoral care in relation to self-acceptance. This bachelor thesis deals with socialization of preschool and younger school children with regard to influence of family and children of the same age. The goal of this thesis is to describe how family and kids of the same age influence children's socialization. And if the theorical part fits with socialization of children in today modern families. In theoretical part I describe some important ranges conected with socialization of children, then what is family, types of family and functions of family. In the next part I describe which factors influence preschool and younger school children. In practical part will be verify learned and described theory by questionnaire survey. Morality in the Context of Gender

The goal of my thesis is to summarize the most important facts about morality, morality development and its connection to gender issues. I am debating, whether there in some kind of inborn conscience and if there are objective ethical norms. In the next part, I briefly summarize three theories of development, which are connected to morality or primarily focused on it. The next part is introduction to gender issues, gender stereotypes and socialization influence on gender identity development in children. In the practical part I present my own moral and gender oriented experiment which was conducted in Christian youth group and its results. Quality of life of seniors living in countryside

The topic of the bachelor thesis is the quality of life of seniors living in the countryside. The theoretical part of the work first deals with the general concepts of aging, age, quality of life, human needs, autonomy of the seniors, etc. And many others. The following part focuses on the importance of the external environment for the quality of life in old age and the differences between life in a city and in the countryside. Last but not least, the currently available possibilities to support and help seniors are introduced and the types of social services and social work in the rural environment are described. The focus of the empirical part of the thesis consists of a quantitative exploratory investigation to ascertain what the social and cultural conditions of life of the elderly in the countryside are and what form inter-generational relationships have. The analysis and final data interpretation of the questionnaire survey provides background material for the suggestions how to improve the lives of older people in the countryside.
