Technical viscous curve for injection molding

Injection molding is highly dependent on flow qualities of plastics. The bachelor thesis compares the conventional measurement of their rheological attributes with the method of injection molding to the technical viscous curve. This method enables to determine the optimum injection rate at which injection resistance does not allow significant improvement of the melt’s flow attributes, on the contrary increases the energy consumption of the process. At the same time, the thesis tries to prove the advantage of this method.

Production technology of plastic bracket bearings motor

The target of this dissertation is based on the specified shape of plastic part to develop search technology of plastic injection molds, to the technological design process and construction of injection molds, including the necessary calculations. The project includes a search and a practical sections. Based on information from a search section a suitable material was chosen, which became the basis for practical section. The practical section with basic technology calculation is complemented by filling simulation analysis and stress analysis of critical elements. A part of this dissertation is the set of the drawings.

The application of offensive realism in outer space as a fifth operational domain

My MA dissertation focuses on the application of the John Mearsheimer's neorealist theory of offensive realism in outer space as a new military operational domain, which is becoming more and more relevant for the state actors, as shown by the official recognition of the domain by the NATO, the establishment of the US Space Force or tests of anti-satellite weapons. Following the definition of the theory, a comparison of space to the other operational domains is made, with emphasis on the unique features of space. Subsequently, the contemporary technologies of anti-satellite weapons are defined, including their use in accordance with the theory, which is based on power maximization. The part is dedicated to the strategically important points on the Earth's orbits and to other features of the domain, which may become the subject of a contest. The results of the application of offensive realism are shown in a table in the last part of my dissertation.

Issues of international legal personality of the EC and EU in external relations

V současné době poznáváme nový fenomén, kdy se původní mezinárodní charakter ES postupně, po krůčcích, s většími či menšími úspěchy přeměňuje v nadstátně pojatou EU. Přinejmenším v posledním desetiletí zesiluje úsilí, aby vznikla EU nové kvality, s jednotnou strukturou a jedinou právní subjektivitou. Je snad dobojováno? Vznikla již za současného právního stavu taková EU, nebo se její zrod odkládá do (blízké) budoucnosti? Diskuse nad mezinárodněprávní subjektivitou Evropských společenství a Evropské unie je u druhé jmenované akcelerována skutečností, že právní subjektivita EU není výslovně zakotvena. Debata probíhá nejen mezi právníky, ale i mezi politology či politiky, protože v jejím pozadí doutnají představy o míře integrace v EU již dosažené nebo žádoucí. Je otázkou, zda-li budou vzbuzené vášně v dohledné době zklidněny, neboť osud Lisabonské smlouvy, která měla situaci právně rozřešit, je po zamítavém referendu v Irsku nejistý. Odpovědi budiž hledány i v další textu. Tato práce si klade za cíl analyzovat mezinárodní aspekty právní subjektivity ES a EU, které se objevují ve vnějších vztazích ES a EU. Práce začíná popisem povahy ES a EU, pojmovými rozdíly mezi nimi a vymezením právní subjektivity. Dále pokračuje analýzou příslušného mezinárodního práva, které se vztahuje k problému subjektivity...

Manipulation in Diagrams Using Graphical Technics

The diploma thesis aims at three different categories of manipulations which are used in statistics and probability diagrams (charts) and chooses one of them, manipulation using graphical techniques, for quantitative research that follows the theoretical part. The three categories are analyzed in a diagram as a sign and their distinctions are investigated to prove singularity of each. This analysis is conducted twice. First, the manipulative diagram is analyzed in a system of signs created by Charles Sanders Peirce, with emphasis on the three phasis of an interpretans. Then, the analysis is performed in terms of mythology of Roland Barthes. Finally, even the third analysis is made in the framework of semiology of Jacques Bertin , which, however, focuses solely on the graphical techniques of manipulation. Emphasis is placed on visual variables and possible questions. Graphical manipulation techniques fall in two basic groups. The first represents graphical manipulation which uses its specific structure: axis, their intervals, location and size of labels, and the type of a diagram.
