Rise and Fall of Crimean Separatism: Act of State Independence and Constitution of May 1992

Bakalářská práce Vzestup a pád krymského separatismu: vyhlášení samostatnosti a květnová ústava 1992, zpracovaná na základě analýzy dostupných zdrojů, se zabývá problematikou krymského separatismu na Ukrajině v 90. letech 20. století, primárně mezi léty Jejím hlavním tématem je vývoj vztahů mezi Ukrajinou a Krymem v krymské květnové ústavy, která se stala ztělesněním aspirací krymského separ byla doplněna prohlášením o samostatnosti, které jednostranně povyšovalo pozici Krymu na stejnou úroveň s Ukrajinou. Dokument ovlivnil vztahy mezi těmito dvěma aktéry a definoval požadavky krymského separatistického hnutí, které zůstaly aktu Krym součást Ukrajiny. Hlavním cílem práce je zodpovědět otázku, proč byla ústava pro ukrajinskou vládu nepřijatelná a jaký dopad měla na krymsko postupně věnuje vývoji krymsko ukrajinských vztahů a g jejichž základě se snaží nalézt převládající tendence. Následně práce zkoumá samotnou květnovou ústavu a vyhlášení samostatnosti v rámci dalšího vývoje. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty dopady květnové ústavy na vztahy mezi zmíněnými dvěma aktéry a důvody Ukrajiny pro její odmítnutí.

Czech Humanitarian Aid to Ukraine in the post-Maidan period

This bachelor thesis discusses Czech humanitarian aid provided to Ukraine since the beginning of the protest movement in Independence Square in November 2013 up to the fall 2015. The aim of this thesis is to ascertain specifics of Czech humanitarian aid provided to Ukraine, its main influences and to determine to what extent it is possible to apply these characteristic to Czech humanitarian aid in broad sense. In the thesis are thus analysed the very definition of relief aid, its considerable aspects and current trends. These trends are in the same time linked to Czech humanitarian aid and their influence is examined. The thesis also explores and examines the crisis in Ukraine, since its' specific context influenced Czech humanitarian aid. Czech humanitarian aid is analysed by means of qualitative approach. The core of this approach is based on interviews with prominent people employed in the humanitarian sector and on analysis of humanitarian policy of the Czech state and of selected humanitarian non-governmental organizations: ADRA Czech Republic, the Czech Red Cross, People in need, Caritas Czech Republic, and Doctors without borders Czech Republic. The Conflict in Transnistria

Diploma thesis "The conflict in Transnistria" deals with the roots and progress of the situation, which occurred in the east of Moldova when Soviet Union dissolved. Basic geographical and terminological orientation is in the first chapters, historical background follows. Core of the thesis lies in the analyze of negotiations about the status of Transnistria which has been held since 1994. Finally author appreciates the role of main actors, Transnistria itself, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine, Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and European Union.
