Dramatic and Musical Improvisation as a Means to Develop the Child's Personality to Primary Schools

In my diploma theses, I deal with links to the dramatic and musical elements based on improvisation and their influence on the development of a child's personality at the lower stage of primary school. In the first chapter of the theoretical part I deal with dramatic education, its definit ion, content, and its principles. In the second chapter, I am writ ing about a music, its objectives and activities (vocal, instrumental, musical-movement and listening). In the chapter called: "musical-drama" I deal with interconnection of the dramatic and musical elements through improvisation as a means of personality development. In the theoretical part I am writ ing about communication and I describe the period of a younger school-age child. The practical part focuses on experimental research of two younger school-aged groups with various musical focus. It consists of the characteristics of groups of children, description of the course of the experiment, analysis, comparison of work groups and the final evaluation.
