E-learning exploitation aiming at commercial correspondence tuition

This diploma thesis disserts upon the topic of e-learning and the possibility of its exploitation when teaching the subject "Business Correspondence." Its aim is to introduce the project of an e-book which I am preparing for my students and to show that under current socio-political conditions such an idea can be implemented absolutely as a free act, altogether independently of the state of legislation or educational system alone and without the need to expend substantial financial investments. The whole text consists of two parts. The theoretic part covers in its introduction an analysis of the background of the origin and development of information society including its reflection in pedagogy. Further, it analyses the concept of information and communication technologies which are subsequently placed in context with pedagogical environment and human learning. This part offers the view of e-learning and defines it for the purpose of this thesis. The second part deals with exploitation of theoretical findings in practice when creating an electronic learning text. It explains reasons why the idea of the project originated, defines it in terms of established concepts and specifies its technical as well as personnel requirements.
