Competitive Intelligence: aspect of protection information and information system

The rigorous thesis deals with competitive reporting in the current business enviroment and the area of public administration. It focuses on the importance of protecting information and information systems in organizations from fraud and loss of important information. Analyzes the causes and the reasons for the abuse of information. Proposes a methodology for ensuring protection of classified information in a competitive atmosphere organization. The work is based on the protection of information in legal standards. The aim of the work is to establish preventive measures against fraud and loss of important information and determine the causes and circumstances of crime in the are of work with the information. Věra Pilecká The interaction of information science and cognitive sciences with emphasis on information retrieval (dissertation thesis) (Vzájemné ovlivňování informační vědy a kognitivních věd s důrazem na vyhledávání informací) Abstract Focus of this thesis is on the description of the interaction of information science and cognitive sciences with emphasis on information retrieval which is influenced by some of the cognitive aspects. The introductory chapter deals with the definition of information science and paradigms inspired by a cognitive approach (cognitive and socio-cognitive paradigm). Then a cognitive science is defined including its basis, methods and application. In the third chapter, a comparison between information and cognitive science is included, and their interaction and common interests are described. Fourth chapter focuses on information retrieval and influencing factors, including search methods, user information behaviour, and user cognitive characteristics and mental models. The final chapter presents two surveys focused on the use of intuitive and analytical information retrieval styles during searching on Google, and the perception of the differences between traditional and online teaching of the effective reading techniques. The doctoral degree work deals with selected theoretical chapters of Learning Organization with its own corporate culture in the process of change in information society. Development is defined, the main ideas are identified, described is the implementation of a diagnosis, the benefits and potential risks to the organization of learning and its corporate culture. Mentioned are the ethical disciplines, factors of quality and success. The phenomenon of learning organizations is described in practical examples in the last chapter of the work. Benefit is the practical orientation in the process of analysis, review and set new business strategies and the change management of the company.
