Lifestyle issues of nurses in non stop shift operation

The thematic content of the presented diploma thesis is the issue of the lifestyle of general nurses working in regularly or irregularly planned shifts at different times of the day. The disposition of such employment entails limited opportunities for adherence to healthy living. This fact is the subject of exploration mentioned and solved in this diploma thesis. The first theoretical part of the diploma thesis provides a theoretical explanation on how best to adhere to the principles of healthy lifestyle, how best to lay out diet, sleep, or leisure, and how to contribute to good physical and mental fitness. The second, empirical part works with specific information obtained through questionnaire research and quantitative methods using statistical methods. Discussion and conclusion of the diploma thesis evaluate questionnaire obtained information and compare it with foreign research.

Measurement of efectiveness Public Relations activities on the Czech market

The thesis deals with the field of Public Relations with an emphasis on the issue of measurement of the effectiveness of PR activities. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the comparison of methods and instruments of measurement the effectiveness of PR activities in the Czech Republic and abroad. The practical part deals with the mapping of the current approach of the Czech firms implementing PR activities to the field of PR with an emphasis on measurement of the effectiveness of PR activities, together with providing advice to communications and PR agencies how they should further proceed in this topic in the relation of the Czech companies.

Postprandial thermophily in spiny-tailed agama Uromastyx acanthinurus

Postprandial thermophily (PT) is an increase of preferred body temperature following food consumption. PT helps to maximize digestive functions. We compared the preferred body temperature after feeding in a species Uromastyx acanthinurus. We tested ten individuals and repeated each experiment twice. Our results clearly demonstrate the occurrence of postprandial thermophily in Uromastyx acanthinurus. The average temperature raised 3,82°C after feeding. We found the marginal significance of the relationship between temperature before and after feeding and the length of the individual.

Dietary preferences of selected snake species

In this study I investigated the dietary preferences of very familiar snake in our country - grass snake (Natrix natrix). I did the experiments with both adults and young individuals. I used Y-maze apparatus for testing. I selected frog (Rana esculenta) and fish of two sizes (Cyprinus carpio) as a prey items for those experiment. I tested snakes in three experimental settings. In the first the prticular snake can choose between empty branch and small fish at the end of the second branch, in the second two fish of different size were offered, and the third experimental setting investigated the preference between small fish and frog. As a prey I used only the cotton rubbed against the prey item (carp or frog) which I subsequently placed to the plastic box at the end of two branches of Y-maze. The results show that the adult snakes are less choosy in their diet than the young snakes which almost always prefer frog prey against fish.

Bakalářská práce pojednává o rozboru kolektivního vyjednávání a kolektivní smlouvy nejprve z teoretického hlediska a dále se zaměřuje na praktické zkoumání ve společnosti GCE, s.r.o. V teoretické části práce jsou specifikovány a charakterizovány klíčové oblasti problematiky kolektivního vyjednávání a kolektivní smlouvy vůbec. Praktická část analyzuje pomocí těchto tématických celků konkrétní skutečnosti a jevy ve společnosti GCE, s.r.o., kde působí příslušná odborová organizace.
