Vliv hlaváče černoústého (Neogobius melanostomus) na potravní řetězec řeky Ploučnice
STANĚK, Pavel
Biological invasions are prominent factor affecting changes in invaded ecosystems. Invasive species can alter in food web of the indigenous community, which leads to changes in the community through ecological and economic effects. This work was focused on the effect of the Round goby (Neogobius melanostomus, Pallas 1814) food web of river Ploučnice. Round goby was first recorded recently in the Czech Republic (2015). Thus, it can still be considered a young invader into Czech inland waters. The main goals of this thesis were: I) to reveal Round goby food source preferences, II) to Competition between Round goby and European bullhead (Cottus gobio, L 1758), as this species is a native endangered species present at this locality. III) Possible preferences of Round goby as a putative food source of predatory fishes in sampled localities. For this purpose, River Ploučnice has been chosen. River Ploučnice flows into Elbe River, which is fully invaded by Round goby. Thus, the bottom part of the Ploučnice River is invaded by Round goby as well. However, thanks to the presence of migratory barriers between localities, Round goby has not yet been detected in localities upstream. To reveal mention goals all biota units in all localities were sampled. Later, stable isotope analysis (carbon and nitrogen) followed by Bayesian models were employed. In general, results suggest that this species had the highest abundance among other species in localities with an established Round goby population. In addition, results reveal Round goby as a true generalist regarding food source preferences. Comparing trophic niche width and overlap showed a significant overlap between some of the ontogenetic groups of round goby and European bullhead, reaching up to 67,8 %. Also, increased niche overlap between ontogenetic stages of European bullhead was observed when Round goby was present, in comparison to localities without the presence of Round goby. Additionally, predatory fish food preferences showed no specialization on round goby as a food source, although round goby was part of their diets. In conclusion, this was found round gobyas a consumer, competitor, and even as a food source for predatory fishes.
Stabilized operation of the 220 kV power line
Staněk, Pavel ; Ptáček, Michal (referee) ; Blažek, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis deals with methods of solving lines under voltage levels of very high transmission voltage and extra high voltage. The first, theoretical part of this paper analyses different methods how such lines are solved. In particular, an accurate solution is provided simulated by means of a line with evenly distributed parameters, and an approximate solution simulated by means of a line with lumped parameters. Furthermore, special cases of steady running conditions of the line are reviewed, such as no-load running, short-circuit and line operation with natural load. In conclusion of the theoretical part is given a general method of solving an extra-high-tension and extra high voltage network; also, some graphical methods of solving such networks are shown including their brief description. The second, practical part of the present paper involves application of the above mentioned methods of solution on a specific line with given parameters, solving conditions at the power line under steady running conditions and in special cases of the line operation. The conclusion of the thesis summarizes the obtained results.
Calculation of electrodynamic forces in 630 A circuit breaker
Staněk, Pavel ; Bušov, Bohuslav (referee) ; Valenta, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to simulate the action of electrodynamic forces on current carrying path and a movable contact of the circuit breaker OEZ Modeion BH 630NE. For the calculation there is used the simulation program Ansys Maxwell. The first part is devoted to theoretical analysis of electromagnetic forces on a conductor in a magnetic field. Further I discuss the constructional design of the circuit breaker itself, especially the current path and the contact mechanism. In the next part there is (with using program Autodesk Inventor) created a simplified 3D model of the current path including an arc chamber. With program Ansys Maxwell then there is performed simulation of the acting of forces in each mode. This is magnetostatic and transient analysis for symmetrical and asymmetrical flow of the fault current. In conclusion the results obtained are evaluated and processed in the tabular way.
Pathological gambling in croupiers of Prague casinos: Exploratory-correlative questionnaire survey
Staněk, Pavel ; Vacek, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Vopravil, Jiří (referee)
The aim of the study was to describe the relationship of Prague croupiers casinos to gambling and their potential pathological gambling. Research questions were used tracking circumstances of creation and the development of pathological gambling, its existence and possible causes and their own perception of the respondents. As the method was exploratory-correlation questionnaire survey to obtain data the combination of a questionnaire and SOGS own closed questions. The current population was employed in Prague croupiers casinos and a sample, obtained using the technique of total choice, off the respondents, who replied to questionnaire. Data were processed by mathematical-statistical methods of analysis in SPSS. From the final results is it evident, that the number of probable pathological gamblers among dealers of Prague casinos is much higher than the prevalence of this phenomenon in the general population. In the casino is 33 % of the respondents and in general population is estimated only 1% of pathological gamblers. The reasons for could be clarified this. The usability of addictology in the activity of Probation and mediation service
Staněk, Pavel ; Fidesová, Hana (advisor) ; Šejvl, Jaroslav (referee)
Background: The Probation and Mediation Service plays an essential role in the execution of alternative sanctions for offenders who are often addictive users. During my practice I was intrigued by the scope and breadth of activities and the necessary knowledge of probation workers. Objectives: The aim of the thesis was describing the possibilities of using addictological knowledge and specialization of probation officers to work with clients using narcotic and psychotropic substances and to compare possible changes compared to the situation described by Gabrhelíková in her dissertation in 2010. Sample: The research sample consisted of probation officers and assistants of the Probation and Mediation Service Prague; 36 respondents were participated in the research. Methods: The research methods were a questionnaire survey, semi-structured interviews and also a case report of the Probation and Mediation Service client. The analysis of available documentation was used in the case report. Ethical principles were observed. Results: Surveys showed that the number of users of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances among clients continues to increase. Official statistics underestimate this situation. Probation workers positively perceive the contribution of addictological knowledge to their client work while...

Analyse of franchise in hotel nterprise
STANĚK, Pavel
The dominant theme my work is Analyse of franchize in hotel enterprise. Concretly I selected the bigest hotel´s company in Czech republic. This company is OREA HOTELS a.s.. OREA HOTELS has got in Czech republic about 30 hotels. Some of this hotels cooperate with OREA HOTELS as franchisee. In my work I try to analyse advantages and disadvantages franchise, organization structure, the main duties of franchisee and the procedure of incorporation hotels finally.
