Evolution of Prize Money for the first places in selected sports

Title: Evolution of Prize Money for the 1st places in selected sports Objectives: The main aim of this Master Thesis is to analyse evolution of prize money for winners in selected competitions and disciplines of golf, tennis, athletics and figure skating and prognosis of their evolution until 2020. Another goal is to compare the results of this prognosis and try to determine what influences the evolution. Methods: Methods used for prognosis of the future evolution are prognostic functions FORECAST and LOGLINTREND. Quality of prognosis is based on the Theil Index of Inequality. Trendline is also used to determine future evolution of the data. The correct trendline is chosen based on its reliability value. Results: Result of this theses is the discovery that prize money in history was progressively growing especially in traditional tournaments in tennis and golf. In younger series of competitions in figure skating and athletics prize money remained constant within the years. Prognosis suggests further increase in prize money in Grand Slam and Major tournaments and stagnation in Diamond League and ISU Grand Prix. Comparation of Vera Caslavska's olympic victories media images in the contenporary press

Bachelor theses Comparation of Olympic victories of Věra Čáslavská in contemporary press is focused on analysis of newspaper articles concerning Olympic victories of Věra Čáslavská on the Olympic Games in Tokio in 1964 and in Mexico in 1968. Based on the analysis of these articles media image of these victories is compared in both of the monitored periods as well as in the monitored daily newspaper. Media image is also put into period context, observed is especially its use for political propaganda. Among analysed newspaper belongs Rudé právo: Orgán Ústředního výboru Komunistické strany Československa, Lidová demokracie: Orgán Československé strany lidové and Mladá fronta: Deník mladých lidí. Monitored period was set on the week before and two weeks after Olympic Games. Analysis of articles contains their content as well as the language used.

Influence of APS on Sport Performance in TeamGym Junior

Title: Influence of Actual Psychological State on a Sport Performance in TeamGym Purspose: The main aim of this bachelor theses is to determine the actual psychological state experienced before the competition and to find out the influence it has on athlete's performance. The difference between the performance and psychological state in cup competitions and competitions where team can move on to the next round is also discussed in this theses. The TeamGym, as a young and not so well known discipline, is also introduced in this theses. Methods: The research method used to evaluate actual psychological state of gymnasts is the questionnaire method SUPSO founded by Oldřich Mikšík. This questionnaire is applied on the members of the team before every competition. The methods used for determination of the performance are the analysis of every competition video record, the analysis of obtained results and interviews with a team coach and TeamGym judges. Results: As a result of this theses is the description of psychical states of all the team members and it's improvement during the season. The sport performances are also evaluated and the connection between them and the psychical states are discovered.
