Rýdl, Jan ; Opletal, Lubomír (advisor) ; Siatka, Tomáš (referee)
Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmaceutical Botany and Ecology Candidate: Jan Rýdl Consultant: doc. RNDr. Lubomír Opletal, CSc. Title of Thesis: Biological activity of plant metabolites XXI. Alkaloids of Papaver somniferum L. and their activity against human cholinesterases. Alkaloids contained in opium poppy (Papaver somniferum L.) were investigated in terms of their effect on human cholinesterases and their antioxidant activity. For the preparation of the basic extract was used 7,0 kg dry green capsules that were percolated by 78 liters of ethanol. By gradual alcalization of the basic extract were prepared individual extracts with each type of alkaloids. In this work has been processed only Ac-Et2O extract. This extract was gradually divided, depending of the pH, into individual fractions of alkaloids. Processed was only the ADd fraction, contains chloride insolubile in CHCl3 and bases soluble in CHCl3. The ADd fraction was separated into individual alkaloids by TLC, one of the isolated alkaloids was morphine, identified by mass spectroscopy. Morphine has activity against human erythrocyte AChE IC50 = 2357 μM, against serum BuChE IC50 = 3744 μM. Morphine has no antioxidant activity. Keywords: Papaver somniferum, alkaloids, morphine,...
Stárnutí populace a udržitelnost důchodového systému České republiky a Polska
Rýdl, Jan
Main goal of the thesis is to elaborate on how does the population ageing affect sustainability of the pension systems in Czech Republic and Poland. Terminology from the field of pension systems is introduced, as well as the population ageing phenomenon and its impact on pension system. Further the development of pension systems in observed countries since year 1990 until the present day is described and the impact of executed reforms on revenues and expenses of pension system is depicted. After analysis of the data, a question of how fitting and sustainable the pension system is, is resolved. Empirical section concludes that the pension systems in Czech Republic and Poland are correctly set according to to-day’s circumstances, but not sustainable in the future, because reforms that would react accordingly to the population ageing phenomenon have still not been executed.

Pištěková, Klára ; Špička, Jindřich (advisor) ; Rýdl, Jan (referee)
The main objective of this Bachelor's Thesis is to evaluate the current financial situation of the company TOS Varnsdorf, a.s. and the prediction of further development of the company by using outcomes from financial analysis and evaluation of creditworthy and bankruptcy models, including one rating model. The methodological section provides a theoretical definition of the methods of financial analysis and creditworthy and bankruptcy models. The practical part includes a basic description of the company and application of selected indicators of financial analysis (profitability ratios, liquidity ratios, activity ratios and debt ratios, labour productivity ratios, economic value added), selected eight creditworthy and bankruptcy models and a rating model. The final section provides an ex post evaluation of financial situation in the company and financial situation predictions based on the results of the models.
