Karyotype analysis of mesothelid spiders
Prokopcová, Lenka ; Král, Jiří (advisor) ; Zrzavá, Magda (referee)
Cytogenetics of mesothelid spiders is largely unkown. The presented diploma thesis is focused on the karyotype evolution of these spiders. As it is the most basal group of spiders, the analysis of its cytogenetics can bring important data about ancestral spider karyotype. In the framework of my thesis, I analysed diploid chromosome numbers, chromosome morphology, meiotic division, sex chromosomes and the pattern of selected molecular markers that were detected by fluorescence in situ hybridization. According to my results, mesothelid spiders have a high number of chromosomes and the prevalence of monoarmed chromosomes. Unlike other spiders, mesothelids have little differentiated sex chromosomes. Key words: evolution, spider, chromosome, karyotype, fluorescence in situ hybridization, nucleolar organiser region, sex chromosomes

Socially excluded locality Mojžíř?
Prokopcová, Lenka ; Háva, Petr (advisor) ; Kružík, Lubomír (referee)
The work deals with the analysis of socially excluded localities beginning Mojžíř. It focuses on the exploration of problems of local people, the reasons for their occurrence and their possible remedies. Another important part of the work is to analyze existing programs and projects in support of the site and its inhabitants and to assess their adequacy. The paper used methods: secondary data analysis, interviews with experts, surveys within the case studies, in-depth interviews with selected residents, tree location problems. The research results show a large number of problems which are faced by local residents and minimal opportunities to face those challenges and most preventable. The key consider high unemployment, debt and morbidity of local people. The site works by People in Need, which significantly contributes to help local, it runs but very reluctant to arrogance in cooperation with local authorities in Neštěmice under which settlement Mojžíř falls.
Propemptikon and other traditional forms in Horace's Odes and Epodes
Prokopcová, Lenka ; Kuťáková, Eva (advisor) ; Bažil, Martin (referee)
The dissertation concerns a literary form designated as "propempticon" and its typical representatives within Horace - Epode X and Odes I 3 and III 27. The initial definition of the term "propempticon" itself is followed by a list of propempticon examples in Greek poetry - where the archaic Greek lyrics are concerned no complete piece of work has been preserved which could be designated as propempticon, only individual motives characteristic for this literary form within one piece of work are always present. These motives were later developed by poets of the Hellenistic period and later the propempticon appeared in works of epigrammatic as an individual literary form. Closer attention is paid to propempticon in Roman poetry before Horace. An analysis is carried out in the dissertation of the two preserved fragments from Parthenius' piece, an example of the first known propempticon in Roman literature, and further in the five fragments of Cinna's propempticon dedicated to Asinius Pollio. The following chapter summarizes motives characteristic for propempticon in archaic Greek lyrics and Hellenistic poetry on the one hand and Roman poetry of the 1st century BC on the other. Theoretic essay on propempticon from the rhetor Menander of Laodice (3rd century BC) is mentioned in brief. The body of the dissertation...
