The Carnival in Dolní Chrášťany: Music Ethnographic Research

4 Abstract In Dolní Chrášt'any, something that could be described as a "new tradition" has been developing in recent years. The village of Dolní Chrášt'any is located on former German territory, so most of its original inhabitants were displaced after World War II, and the continuity of the carnival celebration was interrupted. After the subsequent settlement of the village, the carnival tradition was renewed, but it did not last long and was again interrupted as the inhabitants left. It was only in the new millennium, after 2000, when new immigrants from the urban environment, mostly from Prague, began to settle in Dolní Chrášt'any. It seems that they do not strive for "authenticity" at any cost. They do not want to create an 'open-air museum' of the original carnival, but to capture the social dimension of the festival and to reflect the current state and conditions of the local community, which, although at first sight may look very distant from the original ones, in essence fulfil an identical function. It is this paradox of the clash between folk tradition and its perception by people who did not grow up in the atmosphere of village traditions that I will primarily focus on in my research. This thesis focuses on school meal programs, teenage nutrition and related issues. It describes school meal programs in the Czech Republic as well as their history and present situation, presents fundamental legislative requirements and addresses well known nutrition habits of adolescents and possible related health issues. The practical part includes information on quantitative research using questionnaire survey method and assesses representative students nutrition awareness, nutrition habits, and their approach to healthy lifestyle. The results of the survey are evaluated both statistically and verbally and show the differences based on age, gender and area of studies. The work also deals with students attendance and satisfaction with school canteens.

This thesis is focused on food consumption at school, childrens nutrition and related issues. It acquaints the reader with history of school meals, informs on school meal legislation and compares the situation in the Czech Republic with manners in schools abroad. Part of the work deals with nutrition for children of different age groups. The thesis evaluates the current status of eating habits in schools and identifies health problems related to poor eating habits. Furthermore, it introduces available healthy eating programs capable of adjusting both bad eating habits and attitudes to nutrition which appear to be the starting point for reducing increasing overweight, obesity and other health problems.

The aim is to analyze the legislation means of resolving insolvency, creating a comprehensive business bankruptcies of the insolvency proceedings in bankruptcy reorganization on the basis of a practical example, including subsequent evaluation of the advantages and the low number of permitted reorganisation, and designing themes, de lege ferenda, namely guidelines, which would be appropriate to change the legislation.
Job satisfaction

The aim of this work was to focus on the factors that influence job satisfaction at the District Court in the Český Krumlov, determine the current status of overall job satisfaction, and in the case of dissatisfaction propose solutions to improve the situation. To determine the status of the job satisfaction, a questionnaire has been designed. It has been found that the greatest effect on job satisfaction has the reward system. The employees are, however, dissatisfied with it. Nevertheless the employees of the organization are rather satisfied.
